Loved this series!
Excellent story. I enjoyed the mystery and how the author tied certain aspects together from past books. The characters were so real and I felt their pain and their joy. Let yourself be swept away by a good mystery with some romance. Come... explore new settings with each book, and listen to stories that will stay with you, long afterward. I highly recommend listening to this entire series.

I enjoyed the historical accuracy and the effort of the narrator to perform Cajun accents. Georgia accents not so much.
The story wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t good either.
The voice of the narrator sounded like a woman in her fifties rather than a woman in her early thirties which the character is supposed to be. I found that distracting through the novel. Last one by this narrator and author that I intend to purchase.

Narrator swallows into microphone...
...which is totally and utterly disgusting and completely ruined it for me. Seemed like an interesting story, but quit listening in ch. 2. Authors, choose narrators carefully or your book won't get listened to.
