Probably the best of the first five books
The first half of the series concludes with this book, overall five books turned out to be very surprisingly good listens, very entertaining and enjoyable with good humor and loveable characters. Story has some nice twists throughout the series though usually predictable but some are nicely hidden, with just enough darkness and seriousness to be a entertaining to older listener.
This book turned out to be my favorite of the series though not focused on my favorite character and I really liked and enjoyed the ending and build up.
Definitely worth a listen if your a fan of fantasy of dragons.

More Happening than the previous book
Coming from the Starflight Show to this book was such a stark contrast. They really are opposites! All throughout this story, Sunny is flinging herself into danger and action left and right. To be honest, it's a little breathtaking when the last book was just Starflight deciding whether he should be an unmoving statue or an unmoving potato for a couple hundred minutes.
What's more, this is a completely satisfying conclusion to the series, if you want it. It ends here, as Tui Sutherland intended, but the rest of the books keep going on if you haven't had enough.
Those are my thoughts. This was a good story.

Best Dragon Series I've read/heard
I wound up loving this entire series. Don't let the intended age group fool you, if you like fantasy and love dragons, this series is for you. it takes a different appriach from many of the dragon books we grew up with where dragons were just side characters or working for humans. this is entirely from the perspective of the dragons. It's also much darker than some might expect for a "children's" book, but amazing. I noticed a few mispronunciations in this book here and there but it was incredibly minor. Nothing you couldn't discern from context.

Good book but….
I love this book, and all the other books in this series, you should definitely read this book, Although, the bit at the end, read by tui t Sutherland herself, it was confirmed, she’s a girl, sounded a bit weird. She’s a fantastic author, but her voice just isn’t quite right. Other than that you should definitely get this book. It is exceptionally fantastic

I think this book is good because it like how to train your dragon but better. I think Shannon McManus did the characters really well and made them come to life I would recommend this book as well as these books 1,2,3,4 so you get the story more. My favourite dragons in the story is Clay, Thorn, Sunny or deathbringer. I’ll recommend this series.
