Excellent book!

Absolutely Loved this book. It brought me back to my own mother-in-law and her stories during the war.

The Book of Lost Names

I enjoyed this book and at times there was just the right of suspense and romance. The author brought out each character’s personality. I recommend the book to all those who like historical fiction based on real life situations.

loved the storyline and characters during the French Resistance and hardships and the hope of Jewish children being saved by the book of names

Book started slowly but builds.

Enjoyed the book very much it builds slowly. Ending is unexpected but very satisfying. Narration is good .

Heroes of the War

This was such a good story and made me thankful for the world we live in. Those times had to have been horrible.

Great book, terrible narration

Loved the book. Like all of her books, she tells history in a compelling way.
Main character a bit too naive, and her mother unbearable.
I found the narration awful, I had to try very hard not to let it ruin the book for me

Fabulous!

Engrossing tale, well-narrated. I could not quit listening. First book I've read in ages that I could not put down, and stayed in my mind long after I completed it.

Excellent Story

I absolutely loved it!! The story line is fantastic! I makes me believe that true love will always find a way no matter the circumstances or time gone by!

Thoroughly enjoyed listening

This was a great story to listen to. The only reason I gave it 4 stars in “performance” is because the narrators “older” voice took some getting used to for me. But that isn’t to say it was bad in any type of way - it just took me a little bit to get used to it. But I’m glad I did!
