Too much filler, not enough story

I’m disappointed in this latest Faith Fairchild mystery. The first half of the book is a recounting of early COVID experiences, which was annoying, and then the mystery wasn’t solved almost by accident. And the motive was pretty far fetched even for a cozy mystery.

Disappointing

Not as good as others in series. Not much of a mystery. Too much about characters that never matter to the story.
