A great read or listen.

This is the second one in a serious and it’s about a set of brutal murders. The storyline is excellent and the detective is interesting and surprising. I love this series. Listen to the first one first so u understand all the characters in the book.

Stunning Thriller

did not want it to end, always on edge what would happen next, who would die next. Quite a good read.

So happy to see kindness to animals here

Although this isn’t my favorite series it’s earned a special place in my heart because of the concern for animals. For the first time the detective is not inhaling cow meat on a bun or slurping blood from a juicy steak. Writers seem to do this to make the women look equal to men (tough). Also, this detective takes care of the cat characters—so often cats are used as a gross out. Pinned to a wall in someone’s bedroom, thrown on the doorstep with its throat cut, I get so sad and angry every time i hear something like that. So hats off to this animal loving detective.

This did not disappoint

Anne Frasier...why did i never know about you before? this was a great story and the narration was fantastic as well. The characters are well developed and compelling. I highly recommend and look forward to the next installment.
