this was not my type of vampire lore, what with the whole ripening and battle form, but I did enjoy that they were black vampires because you know representation matters. with that being said I do recommend it and I'm definitely listening to the next book I want to see how this saga ends.

The voices could’ve been a bit better but the activities was very thigh tightening. It so worth the listening and reading, Xander has one heck of a temper. And the Quite King with a corpse is the most wild thing I have ever heard.

I cannot wait to see what happens and I like to see that all of them are kind of connected, but I wish that the female character just had more of a standup strong attitude toward her kings but it’s awesome
