She couldn't believe that he wanted to meet her. He was famous. She was a nobody. Finally, someone could see how special she was....

When the body of a teenage girl is found in a London hotel, DI Patrick Lennon is mystified. Nobody saw her or her killer enter the hotel, and there is no apparent motive - until a second teenager is found and Lennon realises somebody is targeting fans of the world's biggest boy band.

As Lennon struggles with both his home life and his rivals on the force, the pressure to catch the killer before he strikes again reaches fever pitch. And when Lennon makes a terrible mistake that ends in disaster, he finds himself in a race to save not only the lives of more teenage girls but also his own career.

Exploring the darkest depths of the entertainment industry and the terrifying dangers of social media, The Blissfully Dead is a new masterclass in tension from the #1 bestselling authors of From the Cradle.

Good story. Getting into some interesting areas of society. Too much sex though.
Good narrator.

This book is not a book written for young adults. That's what I thought, when I read the synopsis. I bought it when I read it was not a teen book, which someone was kind enough to put in their review. It's the first book I've been hooked by in a long time. I enjoyed the mystery and would read another book by these authors. I live in Texas, but love books set in England. It always amazes me when the police don't carry a gun into a sticky situation. Very different culture, and I love a British mystery.

Really enjoyed this book!

I cannot put these books down.
l am not a critic or a writer as a person can tell. I do know what I like and as quickly as l finish one I am listening to the next. I was amazed how these two authors put together great thrillers/mysteries. Try to start on a weekend! It's truly an all nighter!

If you are a past/present fan of The Cure, you’ll smile at all the references in this story. The lead detective is a huge fan, and the title of this story is taken by one of the band’s songs. While this wasn’t my favorite storyline from Mark Edwards, it did keep me guessing until the end. The narrator was outstanding!

Love The Cure references!

The book was predictable but we'll written. I read the last book they wrote together and really enjoyed the detective character. Happy to see him reappear. I could listen to the narrator forever.

Narrator was wonderful
