This is a life changing book! If everyone read this book and put it’s principles into practice it would change our world. I am so thankful it is available on Audible, which is how I do my reading. I received an amazing blessing just in reading this book!

Loved this book!!

I remembered this book from a focus on the family interview with the author years ago. I looked for it here and I LOVE this audio of the revised edition!!! Thank you for this and for the additional I formation contained in the book. I’m headed to the website and to look for audio versions of your other recommendations!! This is the most helpful book I’ve “read” in a long time!

The Blessing

In my life I received The Blessing from my father early on in my life. He passed when I was 23. My mother died when I was 36, of cancer. It wasn't until she was on her death bed that a wall fell between us and I felt for the first time, very connected to my mother. Three weeks later, she was gone. I felt angry that I had waited all my life fir that connection, and it was gone. It took awhile for the anger to go away. It wasn't an emotion that I showed outwardly but it was there buried in my heart. It was my step-dad that told me that my mother was very proud of me (years after her death). I remembered responding to him, "It would have been nice if she had told me that herself when she was alive." I have made a point of telling my children who are now grown adults, that I cherish them. That I love them and are proud of them. This was a wonderful book and I have tried many of the ideas over the years. Not all efforts were acknowledged. But, that wasn't why I spoken the Blessing. I was moved internally to do so and thus did. This book helped me realize that those efforts took place and that it was God that moved me to issue them. I didn't need anything in return. The book also helped me realize where I could do more.

Loved, loved, loved this book. Makes me want to bless everyone I see. They gave so many examples of how to bless in such simple ways. A must read for everyone

A MUST read! I loved this book

I loved this book! Not only was the content great, but I loved the Pause and Process conversations with the authors at the end of each chapter. It made it easy to start applying what I learned right away - even if I was listening while I was driving or doing the dishes. I would recommend this book for anyone - not just parents. And I loved all of the practicals they provided as well. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
