Publisher's Summary

Bulldog's back! This time, there is a plot to foment a revolution in England, a plot that has left the Police baffled and the nation at the mercy of a master criminal. A disguised clergyman, a beautiful sidekick, an arcane poison, car chases and abductions all fail to see off Hugh Drummond and his gang of ex-Army friends. But when the plotters capture Drummond's wife, the game is up. Isn't it?

Undaunted, charming, brave and resourceful, Bulldog Drummond is an archetypal English adventure hero, and the forerunner of The Saint and James Bond.

Absolutely exciting and fantastic story.

The story is fantastic and the narration is very well done. Excellent cat and mouse, mystery, intrigue and suspense that takes place during early 1900s England and Europe.

Just as lively and witty as the first story

and Roy Macmillan's excellent narration had me chuckling all the way. The story picks up where 'Bulldog Drummond' us left.
Bulldog Drummond is on the prowl again to rescue the whole nation and his wife with the help of his cronies. Priceless! The villain is the same, which saves us much time and we can enjoy the ride unimpaired by too much explanations. There are a few gruesome scenes but not so perversely illustrativ as in our modern literature. Many thanks for that!
I highly recommend this audio book. It gives us some hours harmless enjoyment, which we have undoubtedly earned.

Great story telling

I wish there were more of these as they are great to listen to. Roy McMillan does a great job of bringing Bulldog Drummond and his pals to life.

Bulldog Drummond at his best

just spiffing and a wizard read.
all 4 books are tip top!
Ripping yarns from Sapper, Bulldog and his gand are brill.

I see The Black Gang has been removed from Audible. Audible you should be ashamed of yourselves!.

book written 70+ years ago. The BLACK gang are a gang of mates who dress in BLACK to help hide themselves and remain anonymous. they're not people of colour. don't fire up the outrage bus to be offended on someone's behalf for no actual reason. its a great story. it's not picking on or abusing people of colour, far from it.

Get a grip.

Sappers books are wonderful boys own reads from a long past era. censorship like this creates more problems than it solves.
