How is this book even better than I remember! Sara Brodt did such an amazing job with this solo style narration. She absolutely nailed every single character, every single emotion. I was in complete shock when the first male character came out.

Colt and Annie are so perfect for each other. At first, they couldn't stand each other, which made for some great banter between them. But eventually, they became the family, love, and support each other needed. I loved the way that Colt took care of Annie and how he stood up for her, supported her, and did everything in his power to ensure that she could achieve her dreams.

I just loved this book so freaking much, and I don't think I've hated a side character as much as I hate Dr Richard Keeton. He deserves all the bad things that are coming to him.

Fantastic Medical Romance

The plot, the setting, the characters and the happily ever after in this age-gap, workplace medical romance were all so and fantastic! I felt like I was walking the halls and in surgery with the handsomely talented and driven, albeit gruff Colter, and smart, spunky and beautiful Annalise. I was their cheerleader during their journey from enemies-to-forbidden lovers as they fought for and supported each other to achieve their dreams, when they both surrendered to their feelings romantically and realized they were perfect for each other.
This is a re-read for me but on audiobook and you guys, the sole female narrator, Sara Brody, was absolutely fantastic. She navigated the female and male points-of-view seamlessly, her emotions and pacing equally impressive! Highly recommend this medical romance, and highly recommend on audio!

Loved it!

Laura Beth never disappoints! The Bind is an age-gap medical romance that kept me engaged. This typically isn't my cup of tea, but I think it was done really well! I was rooting for their relationship and the heavy topics in the books were addressed with care.

Annalise's challenges with her dad is a driving force in the book. His narcissistic way of life has put her in a difficult position as she pursues her passion. I admired her strength and resilience. I also appreciated that it didn't feel like their relationship came from a dad complex, but just two adults who care.

I also listened to the narration by Sara Brodt and loved it as always! The best combination for an amazing book!
