Like God is Disappointed in you....

I'm really glad that I took a chance on this book. I was looking for something as entertaining as God is Disappointed in You by Mark Russell and Shannon Wheeler but with a little bit more detail. Don't get me wrong, I love Russell and Wheeler's book but I wanted to get another that had more depth. Skip is funny, energetic, and isn't afraid to use humor but simultaneously educates and enlightens the listener. Give it a try!

THIS STUDY IS GREAT FOR TEACHING AT HOME!!!

My husband and I recently discovered Pastor Skip on Radio by Grace in Amarillo Texas. He is out of ALB New Mexico. He has several free resources on Roku, the Apple store, and online and we ordered the bible over 30,000 feet along with the workbook. We have our daughter watch Pastor Skip on the Roku Channel or the App on her phone, then she reads the bible from 30,000 feet, then as a family, we go over the questions. We all discuss the answers out of the work book and we all learn something new. THIS SET-UP IS GREAT FOR HOME SCHOOLING!!! It's amazing how many resources all fit together. Thank you to our Calvary Churches! The McKinley Family from Calvary Grace Church, Amarillo Texas.

Plain and Simple

If you've never heard the Bible story ever, this would be fascinating maybe. The production is fine, though. It would be great for a teen or a new Christian convert.

Excellent overviee

I had been looking for an overview of the Bible book for myself and also to refer to others. thankful to have found it in The Bible from 30,000 feet. I enjoy spending the year in God's Word doing a chapter a week. Skip is a gifted teacher able to explain the Bible in simple yet profound terms.

Great... but chapters don't have titles

This is amazing really... but the chapters aren't labeled so it's really hard to find specific books.

The best overview!

This as the title refers to it's an overview look of the books of the Bible with great in-depth explaining. It is a great refresher showing things I've missed and I think it would be great for people new to the Bible or wanting to more about it. I love that Skip quotes scriptures that he talks about.

OT good NT not so much

I found what you said about the OT was very good. Disagree about the last week of Daniel's 70 week prophecy. In that I believe it finished 3.5 years after Yeshua's death and resurrection. Some thing you said about the NT I like, but most of it I didn't. Which is weird because I generally like what you preach. But it could be because you are a Christian and I'm a Nazarene.
