In what is shaping up to be the worst Christmas ever, somehow Lily and Tom have to try to get along and play happy families, but living with the man who she is clearly not over is proving to be difficult, and tensions are high. Add in some drunken caroling, a reindeer bite, a potent Christmas pudding and some meddling parents and Lily’s trip home will turn her entire life upside down.

Charming and funny!

I hesitated in choosing this novella because I find a lot of Christmas-themed stories to be pretty cheesy, but this was charming. Interesting characters who behaved believably, and laugh out loud funny. Great narration - what is it about a regional British accent that makes everything more clever and funny? This is perfect to listen to while putting up the Christmas decorations.

I loved this one! I love listening to Christmas romance & this was a free pick. So glad I did. Sweet, simple & delightful.

Enjoyable story

I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute story and just the pick me up I needed during the Christmas season. I actually wish it had been longer.

Beautiful and fun Story

What a wonderful story of two young loves who have to figure life out and find a way to happiness. The characters are well developed and easy to envision. There are laugh out loud moments, moments of tears, and a place to root for the characters to figure it all out. The narrator did a nice job. All around great listen.

Loved it

Good story with a fairytale ending but a couple of plot twisters mixed in. Has many laugh out loud moments that kept me awake as I listened to fall asleep..... and failed.
