very sweet and most interesting!💞

i really enjoyed this story! i liked that Alice is a single mum, who, instead of sending her Hattie off away for the summer, she took her along to Tillingford Hall and involved her in everything the household had to offer.
the way everything turned out right in the end was predictable, but not how it all came about.
it was a mystery solved in rather the best way it could have been, and a very sweet love story .. 💞

Sweet English romance book

This was a lovely book that was interesting and sweet and I really liked it. The love story was sweet and I didn’t have to worry that my kids would walk in and hear something cringy. The author actually let your imagination work for you, imagine that! She did very well and character building and you got really invested in each person. I love them all. Don’t want to give anything away, but love all the couplings :) might listen again.

Cosy, no murder

well read British romance with some mysteries which were solved. No violence. A bit "woke" but modern aspects. Some references will date the story down the line. Fits my personal category: Low voltage romance. I was looking for something light to read that saved credits and found it.
