Not real

I’m not saying it’s bad books but it does talk about the Bible and god a lot and the real berainstain bears does not do that

A religious sermon in every story.

Seemed like a cute collection, but I didn't realize the Bernstein Bears stories were really christian bible stories for children. Lesson learned!

nice book, if you are a religious Christian

The stories are great. Quite educational for kids.
However, there is a reference to the bible in every 4-5 sentences. Direct quotations. You may find it uncomfortable if you follow another religion or are an atheist. (I listened to the sample, it doesn't have any biblical verses, so I didn't realize it)

Religious texts

This book is full of religious script. All good for some but not what I wanted.

Extremely disappointed

I was so excited to get this book for my son. Berenstain Bears were my favorite when I was little and we love the DVD’s we have of the show. These were terrible, nothing like the original books. Please remove your religious beliefs from children’s book.

Disappointed and Misled

Was looking for classic Berenstain Bears stories for my toddler. This is religious drivel and should have a warning label. Didn't know this series changed so drastically.
