Publisher's summary

Don't go to sleep. You never know where you'll wake up. Little Darcy Walker is getting the bed she's always dreamed about. A black bed that's one-of-a-kind. But Darcy's bed may not be as new as it looks, and she could be falling into a deathly slumber. From the Amazon best-selling author of Kransen House comes a horrific tale that takes the listener into the depths of an ancient evil. There's no turning back once you've slept in The Bed.

Well Done

Very Original idea with bed! Well designed, characters development & visualization.

Reminds me of pieces & parts of different movies. A bit of; Evil Dead, Insidious, possession, the Exorcist, Nightmare on elm street & maybe even the 1st conjuring. I was surprised how much I did like this story, pleasantly too. Sara did great!

The narrator wasn't bad at all either. He spoke clearly & very very few if any mistakes. Sadly, he failed at the German accent ability. Lol

I do highly recommend this book to any adult that wasn't a a good, short story book!!

I was given this book for free at my request and I am providing this honest review voluntarily.

Sweet dreams

Loved it

Excellent short story about a possessed bed
With evil dead style cabin and demon kids for that creep factor
A well narrated pleasant surprise

Stay Away From Black Beds

This isn’t my first haunted bed story,. Seeing as how much time we spend laying in a bed, horror bed stories creep me out. When you are asleep, who knows what actually happens. Can’t handle the idea of all the possibilities that I have seen in horror movies. I really liked how the story was told and didn’t expect how far down the investigative process it was going to go into a bed's origin. As a father of a daughter, there are no ends I would go and liked what he did. I think the idea was greater than the delivery. It got a little weird and , but I enjoyed this even though it seemed a bit unrealistic.

Reid Kerr did a great job with the narration. His cadence and tone were perfect and I really enjoyed listening to the sound of his voice. He provided the right sound for the atmosphere Sara Brooke created with her words.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
