Better then the first one!!

Loved the first one was super exited for this to come out. Was not disappointed!!

I really like the narrator!

Especially how she voices the bees. First of the Fifth NEVER fails to make me laugh out loud LOL 😂

She has great range too, from naive, to old, to male, to accents.

A great book destroyed by the curse of a narrator and the way they pronounce things

This is one of those books that's amazing, great series. It's something that you want to listen to. And then you deal with them. The fact that there is a narrator imposter, i like these series until you deal with the narrator it's simple words, some of it.Yes, it's done in a way.So that it deals with different type of bees, but then there are others. They're just inexcusable that she says, in a way that's you just want to reach in and say, do something else? You're a horrible narrator this is how it's supposed to be said, and you can't even excuse, because she's doing it in English accent because these reports are English. at times I have to say someone needs to arrest the editor but it just seems like it's her, and you just hope it's the editor but as time goes on, you just know, it's her

Amazing! Incredible! Author is Best Author

This series really should not be as good as it is. Hats off to the author for pulling off the idea. He really manages to make each bee more of a real character than most of the human characters written by other authors in this genre. OK, yes, that's a low, low bar but still. Please keep the bee books coming because they are definitely loved and appreciated.

BEES!

I love bees, this has me locked in.

something about bees: varroa mite parasites... they target the larva, laying a bunch of eggs. when the bee hatches they hatch too. they latch onto the bees sucking their blood like a tick, this weakens them over time. powdered sugar can get them off the bees though.

Great book

I loved both book.and listed to both within a few days. I can't wait for book 3 to come out to see were it all goes

love the laughs

i love how this series makes me laugh. it brightens my day and all the bee puns just don't get old to me.

Different

I like the series so far, the Bee angle is fun and the Bear people are OK. The MC is quite timid but slowly getting a stiffer spine. Quite understandable when his backstory is taken into account.
The bees are silly but overall interesting although their rambling could be edited a bit.
Overall 4 stars.
The narration is good a week 5 stars rather than strong 4, but that might be a preference ad she does s lot of voices and the personality comes through very well.

Nothing burger.

A lack of meaningful progression or drive to improve from the protagonist made this one a slog.

He experienced no growth. He's too passive, too reactive, nonsensically so. The Hunger is always there, always threatening. The fact that there were several parts of this story where he felt he had nothing to do is a massive red flag.

An error, on the author's part.

Just when the story was getting interesting, it ended.

You could probably skip book two and jump straight from one to three and catch on pretty quick. Another bad sign.
