Highly recommend!

These are really great characters! Sabrina Jeffries does just a wonderful job with the hero, the heroine and all the other characters. Great plot, great character depth. And as always, a great narration.

Worth reading

I love the stories and personalities the author gives to each character. The narrator is great.

Cute story-easy listen

Cute,sweet and not a frustrating listen like you seem to get with the “recipe of angst” lazy authors use to create what they believe is fire between the H & H. I’ll keep this author on my favorites list…for now

Fun & romantic

I enjoyed it even more than book 1. But I wish I had read the book A PERFECT MATCH (Duke Dynasty #1.5 which is housed in a separate trilogy on audible titled 'Seduction on a Snowy Night'), before this one as apparently it is a transitionsal story but strangely not included in this series.

In this book.2, there are many very funny moments. The writing is professional and clever. I loved this couple. Their relationship felt real. l also liked that she was "on the shelf," making her debut and not a teenager, though she is a bit immature at times.

The background mystery was interesting. I've come to like this extended blended family too. The idea is unique & unusual.

But the best was the phenomenal narration! Gosh, she is a fantastic performer!

Enjoyed

I liked this story better than the first in the series. It was cute and funny at times. The narrator was very good and pleasing to listen to.

Compassion and empathy

I listen to the entire book on a ride home. I really enjoyed it kept me captivated. 

Good storyline

I enjoyed the narration and the storyline. I also am intrigued about the subtle details of how everyone has died and possibly trying to kill the mother.

Witty

I loved how witty the arguments were between Joshua and Gwynn. I laughed out loud at some of their remarks to each other. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
The only downside was that I felt I had missed a book by not knowing exactly what happened with Haywood and his wife

Very Good!

I loved the Major! So smart, so brave, everything a Marine should be! (Semper Fi - USA Marine motto. - always faithful). Needless to say, my dad was a Marine in the South Pacific during WWII. I love Marines!! A really good man. And he meets his match with his dearling! She is also smart, brave and good for and to him. A match made in England! And so right!
