Publisher's Summary

Some men are troublemakers or deal makers. The men in my family? We’re baby makers.

For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven.

Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding, and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line.

But then one night, Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse - she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor....

A big, fat, baby-making favor....

When I hear women have gotten pregnant shaking hands with Hunter men, I know I need Dylan Hunter’s...ahem, special skills...way more than I need to expand my vineyard.

I’m ready to give my heart to a child, and I’m tired of waiting for my late-to-the-party Prince Charming to make my dreams come true. So I promise Dylan - three months of hot, heavy, baby-making s-e-x, and then I’m out of his hair forever.

But what if when it comes time to say goodbye, all I want to do is keep bottling up more memories with this big-hearted man?

This sexy standalone romance will make you laugh, swoon, and blush baby-makin’ red. Heat level: A risk of getting knocked up during download. Paperback and audio versions are especially dangerous. Handle with care....

Great Audio, Great story!! love

Sebastian York and Andi!!! what an excellent work.. as always, really love them together!! thank you for always bringing the stories alive!!

This is my first book (audiobook) by Lili Valente and it was a great read..

Emma moves to CA. The wine country to run her own winery, escaping from the big city, she found herself loving her new life.. more easy, less stress and traffic.. but not everything was so easy and fine with her.. her biological clock was ticking and her biggest dreams was to become a mother.. but with no sutoirs on the horizon.. she is afraid she won't fulfill those dreams.. Until she hears about the legendary Hunter Men.. she doesn't know if this Fertility legend is real or is just a rumor around town.. until she meets him.. the handsome neighbor with the body of a Greek God..

will she be able to resist him, will he be able to refuse her?

Dylan is a handsome farmer in the wine country, working hard helping his father and siblings to save the family land.. His dream is to be able to build his own brewery. but a beautiful new neighbor, is on his way to achieve his dreams.. A city girl who doesn't know anything about land and wine .. or at least that how Dylan thinks.. Dylan is in a tricky situation because not only Emma is sweet and beautiful, he can't stop fantasizing about her, he can't stop wanting her...

Will Dylan accept Emmas Offer?

Dylan and Emmas story is fast/slow, you could feel there chemistry sparkling all around when they were together.. you get to see them falling in love, braking and changing wrong ideas about each other, specially Dylan.. they're funny, strong and great characters to love..

looking forward to read more books by Lili Valente..

Beware of Dylan!

This was a great story. As usual, Andi and Sebastian make a great narrating team. Lili Valente has quickly become one of my favorite authors. She makes me swoon, laugh, yell, almost cry with her wonderful talent. Dylan and Emma make the sweetest couple, even if their beginning was a planned one, fate had other ideas. Emma wants to have a baby, but doesn't want to wait around for Mr. Right. Dylan's family is known for their babymaking gifts, but he's in no rush to test them. When Emma makes him an offer he can't refuse, Dylan's on board to help Emma with her "issue." It doesn't take long for them to figure out they're becoming attached when they shouldn't. I absolutely loved how this story unfolded.

LOVE THE COVER, BUT

I don't like it when the Arthur make the characters so transparent, stupid, and dishonest. Can we just get books where the characters communicate with each other, and stop assuming the worst of one another. I can't stand that dishonest behavior like when she up, and left without talking things over with the him, or when both characters are thinking a bunch of crazy stuff, about one another. This will turn me off of a book very quickly.

Sexy as hell~

That's what this book was. Awesome characters where we believe lust wins out. But does it?
Lust is just a building block to the overall prize that both main characters will learn. Descriptive along with alluring so much so I found myself breezing through rather quickly. I find myself wanting to recommend this book so others can enjoy it as much as I did

Predictable, addictive and enjoyable

My first solo Lili Valente read, and I can’t wait to meet Hunter Brother #2, he’s waiting on my kindle as I type. I love standalone series following family members. This is a fun, flirty and predictable read, no surprises, but a truly wonderful romance with fab characters that I was really rooting for. Emma Haverford wants a baby, more than anything, only problem is, she’s no plans to be in a relationship, and she’s not too keen on a faceless donor. Dylan Hunter is prime baby making material, only problem is, he’s not interested in making a baby, until that is, his arch nemesis, Emma Haverford makes him an offer too good to be true. An all round enjoyable read that kept me hooked from the get-go. Oh, and yes, let’s not forget the perfect narration from my favourite duo.

weak predictable story

corney story, over the top sex, felt too forced and not sexy, trying to be 50 shades but not hitting the mark.

Choose narrators carefully

I really enjoyed the story. Dylan and Emma are wonderful characters and its a sweet funny book. My one issue was the narration by Sebastian York. Don't get me wrong, he is an amazing narrator however, he was not suited to the character of Dylan. Dylan is in his early to mid thirties, however Sebastian's voice sounds more mature (late 40s 50s). That really spoilt the story for me. He sounded more like Dylan's dad than Dylan. I think it's really important when they cast the narrators to think about the characters age. Perhaps authors can write'more romance books which have more mature characters too.

Story = 3 1/2 stars

The Baby Maker is the first standalone I've read/listened to by this author. I one-clicked when it was a freebie, but very quickly upgraded to the audiobook version after realising the narrators were Andi Arndt and Sebastian York - they are fantastic narrators and I love listening to them together.

This was a very easy romance to listen to, fairly light hearted at times and very low on angst. It was predictable, but fun. Emma is desperate to be a Mum, and after overhearing someone else's conversation, decides that Dylan is just the guy to make that happen. Of course they had major chemistry, and it wasn't long before those boundaries they initially put in place with their agreement were being stomped all over. The story did wrap up pretty quickly at the end, but happy there was an epilogue with just that little bit more.

fun and good

This was a fun read and the narrators bring out the sense of humour woven through so well. I just loved how good it was for a read, and authentic. nothing like an old person meddling to get the youngsters to see what's infront of them.
