Repetitive!!!!

Oh my goodness how can two people be so dense and how many times can it be said?
The first book was similar, but didn’t have as much of this on and on back and forth same thing. It had some, but was far more dragon centered. Still a very slow burn, but didn’t feel nearly as long winded. This book could have been half the length and still would have been too repetitive. It sucks bc the story is adorable. I will finish it, but I have now become annoyingly repetitive loudly groaning every single time one of these two is so thick.
Also, this whole idiotic “deadline” is the most absurd plot point. At 24 she will just never find love if not right now!? Be so for real.

I like the cafe more than the bakery

This book was okay. I loved book one in the series and this one was fine but not as good as the first book. My main issue is the FMC being obsessed with falling in love by a certain time and literally believing she can’t be happy if she doesn’t fall in the love in the same timeline as her mother. It could have been cute if it hadn’t been the only thing the FMC thinks or talks about. She didn’t deserve Theo. Outside of Livinia the story was fine.

Adorable!!

This book is wonderful and sweet! The first book was so good that needed this book too. The characters are lovely and dimensional which is a relief and makes this book even better. Characters from the previous show up and don’t overshadow this main characters.

Autumnal ugh

The male actor kinda sounds like he is reading everything for the first time and doesn't inflect the sentences right sometimes. Author has a YA feel majority of the time, and reuses phrases a lot. If I hear the word autumnal one more time, I sware! All in all, not a bad book though.

Meh

This wasnt as good as book 1, and the male narrator sounded like he had a cold when he recorded this, and AGAIN there were ridiculously long pauses between sentences with just him which was annoying.
