Publisher's summary

Keat brought three things to the Aussie mana apocalypse:

  1. His trusty BBQ fork (+15 damage)
  2. A giant wombat
  3. And a group of mates he hadn’t seen since high school

Australia already had the world's 10 most poisonous snakes, crocodiles, and sharks. Then, the monsters showed up.

Isolated in the Aussie outback with his best mate Nugget, Nugget's sister Mel (who he definitely did not have a thing with), Mel's new latte-sipping boyfriend, and a British backpacker, why isn’t Keat panicked?

Because, Keat’s a gamer.

And as any gamer knows, there’s always a way to power level.

(Also...because he has a giant wombat).

You’ll love this LitRPG western, set in the Australian outback because it reminds us how people change on a gap year...and how they stay the same.

Get it now.

Hilarious

It starts a little slow but then takes off! This was a great experience the story was very funny and the narrator did and excellent job not only with the characters but sound effects too. My only issue, too short I NEED MORE! I also don’t understand a lot of the slang but hey it sounded authentic

YEA!

This is a different kinda of book especially for audio which is really good for this one, i thought it was going to be a silly nothing book with a shorter then usual air time, and mouthy noise effects by the narrator, turns out it's a great bit of fun with cultural humor splashed in. The characters are sometimes hard to distinguish but it doesn't change the level of entertainment I got from this book.

Too many sound effects

There were far too many sound effects, and it was far too short for a credit, maybe worth it as a publishers pack with the second book.
