A short listen packed with great information. Step-by-step guidance to coach you and your partner through to a more compassionate way of communicating with each other. My husband was reluctant to listen with me, because he felt I was the only one in our relationship unable to express pain without shaming the other or getting loud. He was able to see needed changes within himself and learned a better way of expressing needs & concerns to me, and I was able to learn a much better way to communicate my feelings to him. We've been married 38 years & we're still practicing better communication skills. Wish I had this info 40 years ago. I was excited to hear the book read by the author, and I wish he had been a bit more passionate and animated while reading his own work.

Very Insightful

Absolutely loved this. it perfectly encapsulated the essence of Rosenberg's original book on the topic without being drawn out. ot was concise with many specific examples for applications. I will definitely be listening to this one again and again!

Better than Rosenberg's

This is a good introduction to the principles of NVC, how to put them into practice. It's short, but a great guide for today's short attention spans. This is good for review or a primer for someone who wants a crash course in actual sentence construction, but not the best for someone who wants a complete and exhaustive guide, but a great beginner's book.

Excellent and concise guide to NonViolent Communication methods. Short but worthwhile.

I had just finished NVC the day before and I was so excited to get started. There is a lot of information in the book and I figured I would listen to it a few times and take notes so I could implement it into life. I listened to thos book and it was the notes I needed to her started right away. Great companion to NVC!

Just what I needed

Even if you are not familiar with NVC, Salaberrios provides a succinct introduction to the technique. His examples are well chosen and illustrative of commonly paced and reactive dialogues.

Excellent Refresher
