Awesome storyline and delivery
I found DJ Sbu on Youtube but wanted to buy this book. I bought it via audible and I’m glad I did.
As an African American woman it is awesome to hear the grit and tenacity of one of my African brothers. I loved the storyline as well as the real life examples. I can tell he has been inspired by many many great people and the greats here in America as I can hear it in his words and quotes.
It is such a great joy to hear how passionate he is with making the ghettos of South Africa 🇿🇦 amazing and starting the rebuilding process. Sbu is correct that no one will rebuild our communities but US including us blacks in the USA. He’s also right that we experience some of the same racism and experiences no matter which country you are from especially if you are black.
Teaching entrepreneurship is what we need.
Sbu will do amazing in America. I can’t wait to read about his journey in the USA with one suitcase. A great read for sure. Sbu is an inspiration!
