Disturbingly Detailed

What an amazing read into the human psyche and how seemingly normal, everyday people can have urges that can be unsettling.

The detail in this truly makes you wonder, even with the authors disclaimer, how could it be this detailed and graphic without some prior knowledge of the subject matter

The narrators voice was perfect for this book and the subtle switches in tone for each character were perfect.

I recommend this read, but not for the faint of heart.

Six men enjoying their weekend.

Hunting people. Torturing them. Making art with them. Ugh. Don't plan on reading this short story in one sitting. Too painful. You will need breaks. Horror at its best.

I listened to a complimentary Audible version of this book. The narration was great. 5 stars for him as well.

Oh ya, and you gotta appreciate that pretzel!

Art of Human Hunting

A group of friends get together once a year to hunt human beings. Their thinking is totally insane but it works for them. They release their captives and the hunt begins. When the catch them, they see who can inflict the most torture and the one who makes their captive scream the loudest wins. Then they each have a chance to turn their captive into a piece of art. One button in previous hunts, turned their captive’s butt into a face. Very painful. Another removed all fingers and toes and reversed them. Sea Caummisar has quite an imagination for extreme horror. If you enjoy that genre, you will probably enjoy this book. I did not care for Dallas Britt’s narration. He was Fair. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Different but worth the listen

I’m not really into the extreme horror but wanted to check it out. Very graphic and was drawn in by Dallas Britt’s Narration using the southern accent brought back images of “Deliverance “

What a messed up story! Loved it!

I have a love hate relationship with trying new narrators . I am a little on the hard of hearing side and there is nothing worse then getting into a new book and not being able to hear parts or understand parts. Not the case this time.

As for the book. There are some fucked up people in the world and this book highlights some crazy crap that I am sure has happened in one way or another somewhere in the world.

Looking forward to listening to more from this narrator. Thank you Dallas Britt for a good easy to listen to messed up story. Also looking forward to hearing from you what else the author has.

Wow! This is not my normal listen!

Kinda outside my wheelhouse but the narrator did an excellent job of painting the picture. That slight southern draw added to the time and place!

Definitely Disturbing

This was my first venture into extreme horror. It seems to shock value was meant to be most prominent with little backstory or psychological intense moment in between. The author, Sea Caummisar, while presenting unique situations, seems to rush the plot and set all character growth and insights aside.

I was not given a chance to like or care about any of them. It is simply experiencing situation after situation with only a very brief glimpse into a character’s journey.

Dallas Britt did a fine job or narrating. I appreciated his unique accent and character portrayal.

Gruesome and great!!

This story was twisted and entertaining, at the same time. Sea Caummisar is obviously a student of how humans can display the worst of thoughts and actions. Dallas Britt narrated this enthralling story masterfully. I look forward to the performances from the author and narrator in future work.

Narration was great.

This book was meant for someone that enjoys extreme graphic horror. The author could use a little more help with development of alternative storylines to keep things moving without relaying solely on the shock factor of the gore.

However the narrator Dallas Britt did a great job trying to bring life into this storyline.

ok I guess

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. The story was ok, the author even says it the story is from his twisted mind, so if you don’t dig extreme violence and depravity don’t listen to this one. I have been considering what it was about the narrator that turned me off to listening to him, and I can’t really pinpoint it. Bland I guess would have to be the word I’d use.
