Rival photographers are forced to collaborate on a body-positive lingerie campaign, but they might have to readjust their focus when sparks fly.
Photographer Cassie Harris loves her job - her company Buxom Boudoir makes people look beautiful and feel empowered with her modern twist on classic pinup photography. Cassie’s best friend, Dana, is about to launch her own dangerously dreamy lingerie line and wants Cassie to shoot and direct the career-changing national campaign. But company politics and Dana’s complicated pregnancy interfere, and Cassie finds herself - a proud plus-size Black woman - not behind the camera but in front of it.
Though she’s never modeled herself, Cassie’s pretty sure she can handle the sheer underwear and caution tape bralettes. She’s not sure she can work so intimately with the chosen photographer, her longtime competitor in the Chicago photography scene, Reid Montgomery. Their chemistry is undeniable on set, however, and feelings can develop faster than film....

Reseñas de la Crítica
“Reading Danielle Jackson's debut is like finding the perfect bra and falling in love at the same time—rare, delightful, and unforgettable. The Accidental Pinup is the fun, charming rom-com you've been waiting to sweep you off your feet. Cassie is a heroine to root for and you'll want to take an unapologetically sexy selfie while reading. Chemistry, humor, and joy are wrapped in sheer fabric and lace in this luscious debut.”—Denise Williams, author of The Fastest Way to Fall
“The Accidental Pinup is packed with body positivity and irresistible banter. This sexy, empowering, entertaining read deserves a place on your bookshelf.”—Farrah Rochon, USA Today bestselling author of The Dating Playbook
"The Accidental Pinup features a compelling female protagonist, a charming group of secondary characters, and a romance that will keep you invested until the end. In a word, delightful!"—Mia Sosa, USA Today bestselling author of The Worst Best Man

This was such a cute read. I love Cassie and her take no crap attitude. The spice was well written, I just feel there could have been a little more chemistry between Cassie and Reid. That being said, this was a nice, easy read with just a touch of 🌶 and tension.
Cute, rivals to lovers.

She flipped the script! And I love it.

I usually get attracted to book about body positivity like "Cupcake by Cookie O'gorman" but this is Dumplin' kind of book where people are only thin or fat .. and thin people are always evil for some reason
The story is about Cassie who is a photographer but due certain events she is forced to model in a lingerie campaign and the one who will photograph her is Reid, the one who she supposedly hate but slept with him from the second time she saw him and the story is about how will they say I love you to each other
man this was such a waste of time and brain power , I feel like this was written by a harmonal 16 years old but edited by a lonely 40 years old .. it was awkward and talk about forced chemistry !! there wasn't any connection between them at all! none of the side character had any character to remember them by .. this was such a mess
Waste of Time and Credit
