I started this series at book four, so I wasn’t familiar with the background players, yet that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. Tim is a local bar owner in the small town he and Conley grew up in. Conley is back home after being on tour with her boyfriend’s band for years. Tim and Conley were friends, but once he left the band they grew apart. Now with her back in town they must figure out where they stand with each other. Now I need to catch up on the rest of the series.
