Publisher's summary

Ever since last year's homecoming dance, best friends-turned-best enemies Zorie and Lennon have made an art of avoiding each other. It doesn't hurt that their families are the modern day, Californian version of the Montagues and Capulets.

But when a group camping trip goes south, Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the wilderness. Alone. Together. What could go wrong?

With no one but each other for company, Zorie and Lennon have no choice but to hash out their issues via witty jabs and insults as they try to make their way to safety. But fighting each other while also fighting off the forces of nature makes getting out of the woods in one piece less and less likely.

And as the two travel deeper into Northern California's rugged backcountry, secrets and hidden feelings surface. But can Zorie and Lennon's rekindled connection survive out in the real world? Or was it just a result of the fresh forest air and the magic of the twinkling stars?

Penned by William Shakespeare early in his celebrated career, Romeo and Juliet endures as one of the Bard's best known, most frequently performed, and most quoted plays. Over the centuries, this tragic tale of star-crossed lovers from feuding Italian families has inspired countless retellings. Yet when it comes to poetic words full of yearning, adoration, passion, heartache, devotion, and anguish, nothing comes close to the 16th-century original.

An addictive and Romantic Read!

This was exactly what I needed! A sweet, quick, meaningful read! Zory and Lennon were awesome characters separately, but together, they are relationship goals! The family drama was interesting as well. I don’t like the outdoors, but this setting brought so much to the story! I’m in love with this book! Everyone should read!

Really cute book

Second time reading
This is such a cute read. Zorie is a fun main character, even though I was like "Lennon is right in front of you, talk to him!" lol. Lennon is a great guy and I felt bad for all he went through. Their wilderness journey had a couple rough parts and I never would've made it through, but it definitely helped Zorie sort out her feelings and be stronger. The audiobook was well done and the pacing on this is great

Great story

The only problem I have is that we never find out what happened to the guy in the cave. If there even was a guy. Was it a mirage? Was it a weird hobo guy? Did I somehow make it up and it never happened? Who knows

Not a very appro book for YA

The characters in weren't very realistic, nor setting realistic standards for true love. Lots of sexual content, way more than needed, and cheapened the romance in the end. The main lead boy can do no wrong, while her father can do nothing right. Every character in the story is either really, really good or evil, stupid, with nothing in between? Not realistic nor enough flushing out characters to say the least. Lead girl is way too neurotic, stupid and slutely, to be likeable. Dialog was often annoying as a result. Read Wild, by Cheryl Strade if you want a good adventure in the outdoors. She's atleast fun. This book just left me cold.
