Funny, sweet, and way better than the movie

I listened to this book before watching the Netflix movie and I’m so glad I did. The book was, way better. The writing and narration were excellent and I loved the character development, the characters were complex and colorful. And I laughed out loud so many times. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Loved This

I came to this book after seeing the Netflix movie. I love it in a different way than the movie but it has me ready to read her other works.

Much better than the movie.

Watched the movie version randomly on Netflix one night. Liked it but thought man I feel like so much is missing from the story. Saw that the film was based on the book and immediately begin listening to the audio book. No spoilers but the book gives you so much more insight into Helen and all her relationships. Enjoyed the book so much more per usual.

Good story, great performance

Great story! I saw the Netflix movie and really liked it so thought I'd give the audio book a try. I loved the performance, she did a great job with the characters. I should have known NOT to read a book after I have seen the movie because I obviously had an idea as to how the end was going to fall into place. It certainly was better than the movie.

Really sweet story

If you need some good vibes, this is the story for you. You should check out the movie version on Netflix too.

CAMPERS FOR A REALITY CHECK

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING- SO FULL OF LIFE AND THE WHAT IFS. I LOVED HOW WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS GONNA HAPPENED- DIDNT AND WHAT YOU DIDNT EXPECT DID HAPPEN. HELEN WAS A MAIN WOMEN CHARACTER IS A REGULAR HUMAN WITH NEEDS AND EMOTIONS. I LOVED HOW JAKE IS HER BROTHERS BEST FRIEND BUT TURNS INTO SOMETHING ELSE. READ THE BOOK!

Heartwarming, well written, great characters

This is my favorite KC book. It kept my attention (most books don't) and the characters are likable and well written. Narration was good.
