An interesting look at an unfamiliar world....

This is a very interesting look into a world that I have never walked it. The author just lets the folks that they interview speak their mind and tries to ask similar questions to differient parties to try to get an "apples and apples interview". It is an interesteing concept. Medearis and Dekker give minimum commentary and don't try to argue or disuade the other folks from thier views. It is interesting to hear about us from another set of eyes. I am not sure if the folks they interview are really speaking their mind or are they just using this book as a vehicle to convice us they really are not the enemy. Worth the read.

The core of true lasting peace

This book digs into the roots of war and contention by asking us to address the hardest question—how much would you let go of to love God? And by loving God, loving God’s most difficult to love—our enemies. The historical context of the conflict in the Middle East is illuminating. Jesus’s teachings are more radical than we realize.

Think for Yourself

Fascinating, intriguing and interesting story. A lot of truth mixed with fiction. Very well done and insightful. Should be a must read for US Congress. Press On!!!

Interesting book

This book is about everything BUT Hezbollah. I'm writing this not as a bad comment but rather as a encouragement for everyone to read the book.

Along the way toward meeting Hezbollah, authors encounter numerous people and their stories, opening the door toward almost unknown side of people living in the Middle East.

Simple and Raw

Excellent listen! No agenda, just raw conversations with our (United States) enemies. Dekker and Medearis keep it simple and straight forward and let the interviews speak for themselves. Awesome for those interested in the Holy Land.

Disappointing

So much opportunity wasted, though I Learned a few facts, it wasn’t reporting- no clear insight about anything

Perspective

Great book, it allows the individual the opportunity for perspective rather than giving you what you WILL believe.

Thought-provoking

This is a very worthwhile book. I found myself regularly reflecting on a fact that I've often found to be true. We (Christians, Muslims, Jews, mankind in general) are much more alike than we are different. The key, as this book reveals, is to see ourselves in each other.
