Great story, not great performance

I remember loving this book when I read it and I thought it would be a great listen on during my commute. I still really enjoyed the story but it was the performance that got me. I found the main characters voice to be whiny and only some of the male voices were tolerable. The voice acting really took me out of the story.

Narrator

Narrator voice for main character was awful. She made the character sound dimwitted. It was absolutely annoying. I would have returned it but it was a BOGO.

Great story, written by a great author, delivered by an AWESOME narrator! I look forward to more stories by this author and narrator.
