An amazing message of hope

Incredible, inspirational stories of persecuted Christians. Read and your faith will be renewed. Great narrator.

Inspiring

Wow!

First, a minor complaint (for me, anyway). Mostly, the narration was fine. The one thing that I really did not like was when the narrator imitated a woman's voice. There is one particular story, where he is imitating two women talking, and it pulled me out of the story. Maybe I'm overreacting? Anyway, I still enjoyed it overall.

I read and hear of the things that happen to modern persecuted believers. But, to hear of particular individuals and their stories really makes it more meaningful

I know that not all who follow Jesus will experience what these people do. Nevertheless, the reality of His love and strength in their lives makes me even more aware of my hollow 'Christianity', and makes me question whether I am really following Him at all.

it will make your faith real

This was an outstanding book. The stories you hear are true and encouraging. The book ends with a message from believers in the middle east they dont want us to feel sorry for them. I think the church in America should be pitied more than anything. We are weak and shallow but maybe this book will help us get serious.

JUST GET THIS BOOK!!!!

This book is amazing!! Its worth your time and money. You will not regret it.

Courageous Faith

It was inspiring and heart wrenching to hear these saints serving Jesus despite the threats to their lives.

Very moving

This book enlightened me to what our fellow believers are going through quickening my heart to pray for them. It also caused me to search my own heart. God is God through all things! Written very well and read very well. I didn't want to put it down.

Eye opening, horrifying, inspiring

I met Tom Doyle a few years ago at a VOM conference. Only recently did I start reading his first book, “Dreams and Visions.” It was so good it inspired me to try this one. I was so inspired by the stories of these people who are risking (or have given) everything for Jesus. The narrator was outstanding also.

Truly humbled

I loved this book. I know about the struggles Christians face in those countries but hearing them like this hurt my heart and soul and made me feel awful for how much I have ignored and probably taken advantage of the freedom I have. Here are beautiful people that heard from Jesus through dreams and was so touched that they were ready to die if that was what they had to face. They put ever effort forward to get their hands on the word and yet here we are in America not seeing the beauty in having the freedom to freely pray and read his word on a daily basis. I'm truly humbled.

Absolutely the very best thing to read and focus on right now as Christians, in the United States ,to focus on what is real in the world ( real persecutions )and the power of Jesus to save the soul that longs to know the truth.
