Tao koan about the Anima and Animus is explained in perfect detail.

The description for this Osho talk is not very good, this is merely a tenet of Taoism that is defined and not an exploration of Taoism as an institution. This talk starts out with a four minute quote that is quite hard to understand. Luckily Osho gets involved and makes it far easier to comprehend. The beginning of the talk actually is just defining some general spiritual principles and along the way I found myself wondering what does this have to do with the quote but in true Osho fashion he tied it all together and perfectly explained the quote. Some of the things mentioned were defining masculine and feminine traits and near the end of the speech he made it perfectly clear these are not intended to be taken as gendered, it was more a tool Osho used to define and describe the Anima versus the Animus. Ultimately they both need to be united to be of any use, too much Anima and you will be locked into physicality which is the overwhelming experience for the majority of mankind. Too much Animus and you will be the dreamer with his head in the clouds. What Osho described here was a way to be a dreamer with the Animus leading the way and the Anima perfectly following and thus setting one up to be awakened. I really liked how he described this and I would have been at a loss to understand this Koan without Osho's great understanding and ease of definition. I would say this talk has many high level spiritual concepts in it and may take a few listens to really comprehend what Osho is saying here. Whatever you do don't get caught up in the gendered archetypes and look more closely to comprehend the energies he is talking about.
