This book had my emotions all tangled up
lies the deceit the twists and turns of emotions a Very satisfying story with great characters, good romance and all the emotional issues resolved beautifully!

I thought the narrators did a fabulous job
I like the dual narration
They brought the story to life beautifully.

Riding Out the Storm

3.5 stars - I'm putting this out there. I am annoyed at the fact that Evie interrupts people during conversations and ends up missing the important stuff that was about to be said. Ugh! I know people like this, and it is maddening. Richard was about to say what he thought the morning after she decided to reconcile (big bomb not dropped); Robyn was about to share something that several others already knew; and so on. She really does get in her own way.

If that wasn't enough, then she let others lead her around by her nose. The number of times that I wanted to reach through the speakers and biff her were too numerous to count. I struggled with the cheating, no matter the circumstances, and this didn't help.

I did like Colby, even if I disagreed with how he handled his relationship with Lucy. His love for Dexter was unquestionable. Dexter was honestly the glue for this story. I hate how his mother used him as a pawn in her mind games, but I love how Evie embraced him from her first encounter, and put him and what she thought was best for him above her needs.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Brooke Chambers, M.K. Blackwood, and Connor Crais. They are a good combination, and I love the duet narration.

Evie and Kolbe!!!

Oh my goodness!!! I loved listening to the second part of this story, Tangled Up in You: The Tangled Series, Book 2 by Gina A Jones and Cheyenne Rivers because it was steamy and had a whole lot of drama in this story. There were secrets and lies and scandals and nightmares and a lot of steam. This story is told again in Evie's POV and she literally went through the ringer in this story. I really hoped that Evie and Kolbe would get together but fate was always against them. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. It kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end wondering how everything was going to play out. The narrators were fantastic and I would highly recommend listening or reading this story. Absolutely fantastic story!!!!!

What a rollercoaster!

What a rollercoaster! The angst level is off the charts. Evie and Kolbe just can't seem to get a break. Their timing is always off and interference from awful, despicable "family" consistently keep them apart. Will they ever get their HEA? You'll just have to listen to the book.

Connor Crais, M. K. Blackwood, and Brooke Chambers are absolutely fabulous and brought that extra level of tension, spiciness, emotion to an already fantastic story.

More Tangled Up Greatness! Terrific Story & Listen

Evie Westfield’s story continues in this second book of “The Tangled” series starts with “Tangled Up” which ends with Evie, the lead character, making a mind-blowing decision. She made a hasty decision and ran back home, back to where she started and back with Richard, her cheating ex-fiance, but she realizes she does not want a life of deceit or a relationship like her parents. Kolbe finds his way back into her heart and her good grace. All goes well with him and his son too, that is, until Lucy comes with her claws out and ruins it all for them. Once again, Evie runs back to her ex with her tail between her legs and he is even worse than before. She has her reasons for her choices, but that does not mean I had to be happy about them. She takes a while, but she finally wises up, finds out what Richard had been hiding and his reason for wanting her to stay away. It was enough to give her the courage to do what she wanted to do all along, live her life as she wanted to, not fall in the same pattern as her parents or their demands, and to get the love of her life back, Kolbe. Gina A. Jones and Cheyenne Rivers put these characters thru the wringer but in payoff in the end was grand. Thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, M.K. Blackwood, Connor Crais and Brook Chambers’ fabulous performance of bringing these characters to life continues. Their character voices have been consistent throughout and the quality of the audio and their performance have been top-notch. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen.

What a beautiful tapestry this story made! Sometimes the threads got a little tangled because the thread of love got twisted into each other’s hearts. The narrators were great and the characters were definitely voiced spot on! Don’t miss this one!

Duet narration plus Connor Crais

The story and narration were good, but I had little patience for the parts that didn't include the characters of Kolbe or Dexter.For the other parts, I turned up the speed (1.5-2.2)and plowed through. if this weren't in DUET with Connor Crais as one of the narrators, I might have aborted this listen early without finishing. I did like the HEA and the epilogue was sweet.
