Great story and great narration

I loved this book! Funny, witty, romantically, but just a good hometown story of a Central Texas community. Thank you Lisa Wingate and Joanna for your story and narration! Looking forward to book 2!

One of My Repeats

I highly recommend this book. The characters are true characters. They remind me of the places and people of my growing up years. Listen for the laughter, and the the soul stretching and the tears.

Talk of the town

I loved the ending. It wasn’t so rushed as some of her other book endings seem to be.

My ears are bleeding

Wingate is a favorite author; however, the Texas accents were shrill and unreal. I have lived in Texas my whole life, East, South and West. Never have I heard Texans talk in this ridiculous hick accent. I'm offended and can't even finish first few chapters.
