Publisher's summary

Attention: This audiobook contains explicit sexual content between consenting assassins and not so innocent professors. There are depictions of male chastity, breath play, watersports, humiliation, and torture by '80s hair bands with ginger sprinkles on top.

Phew! Now, that that's out of the way, Hi. I'm Mr. No, your friendly communications agent for The Assassins' Guild, a.k.a. T.A.G.

I've been authorized by the head honcho himself, Mr. H, to release approved records from the agent files.

Agent Code Name Mr. W was recovering from a near death debacle by way of an easy assignment in a small mountain town. Red flags sprang up immediately around the seemingly innocent English professor. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery Jacob Peters presented, Mr. W made plans to do what he did best, watch , wait, and then capture and interrogate.

But even the best laid plans can go awry...

Find out what brought Mr. W to his knees in this first release from the archives of The Assassins' Guild.

Amazing!

Reading this book was incredible but listening to it was simply amazing. Each character is unique and full of life, the narrator brings them each to life and their accents are just what I thought they would be. The story is definitely a little different but in the best possible way. Hope the next one is narrated as well!

I liked the story and loved the audio performance!

T.A.G. You're Seen is my first book by A.G. Carothers and the first audiobook I've listened to by Gomez Pugh. I really loved his voice and all of the accents he used in this story were fantastic.

This book was a bit out of my comfort zone but I'm not sorry I listened to it. Here's where I admit my naivete about what watersports are in regards to this book. Google BDSM watersports if you want to know more. While I personally find the idea of this kind of icky, it worked in this story and to each his own…

The first paragraph of the synopsis warns what the book is about. However, it was written in such a lighthearted manner I was a bit taken aback while listening find that one of the main characters is a sadist. Now, having said that, Gomez Pugh's voice is reason enough to listen to this book. 😊 But the story is good, too, even if portions made me a bit uncomfortable.

There were lots of great feels in this story and my eyes leaked more than once. When an audiobook brings me to tears it's a sure sign that the author has written the emotional connection between the characters in just the right way and that the performer also was able to convey what the character(s) is really feeling.

I'm looking forward to reading or listening to the next book in this series.

A copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author/narrator.

great book

I wasn't sure where this was going when I started to listen, but I was very intrigued and it kept my interest. The relationships are unique and I enjoyed watching the dynamics of each
as they played out. This story is fire and the kink is beautiful. I am so glad I finally listened to this and need more. The characters are memorable. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was excellent with voices and accents and brought the characters to life.

Amazing narration, intriguing plotline and romance

This audiobook was not what I expected based on the title and blurb, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Yoshi has been part of The Assassins' Guild for his entire life. Mr. H, the man who killed Yoshi's parents, refused to kill Yoshi as a baby and instead adopted him into the Guild and raised him as his own son. Though it may seem strange, Yoshi loves Mr. H and holds no resentment towards him about his parents' deaths. I had a hard time connecting to Yoshi in the beginning of the book because I couldn't figure out how seriously to take him as a character. Once I learned a bit more about him and got to listen to his stories about growing up with assassins, I felt more invested in his story. The unbelievable outcome of his 100th assignment was hilarious to me.

The book picks up at the beginning of Yoshi's Assignment #101. His mission is to kill a college professor in a small mountain town. What seems like an easy assignment gets derailed by Yoshi's suspicions that the professor is not who he appears to be. Once Yoshi started setting up surveillance and trailing the professor, the story lost me for a bit. I didn't fully understand why Yoshi was so intent on kidnapping the professor instead of just completing his mission. I think I missed a lot of foreshadowing while I was confused, so Dmitry's big reveal was wasted on me. I wish I had more background on Dmitry before his reappearance so that I could have been more emotionally invested in their reunion. Instead, their first sexual encounter felt a lot like insta-love because I thought these two had just met and were already deeply emotionally connected to each other. Thankfully, it didn't take much longer to get some context and everything started to make sense again.

Speaking of Dmitry, I felt like his character development happened in a strange order. I first found out about this guy faking his death and refusing to consider a relationship with Yoshi because they have an age gap. Without the context that happened much later in the story, his actions came across in a weird way and I didn't like him very much. Sure, it's a good thing that he didn't have sex with a 16 year old, but faking your death and fleeing the country is not an appropriate response! Once I did get some of Dmitry's backstory, his actions were more relatable, though I am tired of reading books where the older man thinks his younger partner deserves someone his own age, who's less jaded, etc. etc.

In sum, while this book took me on a long, winding journey, I did enjoy the story in the end. The side characters (Connor, Enrique, Alexei, Nigel) were amazing and I really hope they get their own stories. Though I would definitely classify this as a romance, it was fluffier than I expected for a book about assassins and BDSM relationships. There really isn't much on-page violence or intense sex at all.

In terms of the narrator, I was very impressed with the different characters and accents he was able to do. His Russian accent was particularly sexy, and the way he narrated the sex scenes was amazing. I thought he did an incredible job bringing these people to life, and I'm looking forward to reading more books that he has narrated.

expected pwp and got so much more

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect going in. the warning in the beginning had my attention some of my darker hard to find kink in books so I was instantly interested. There is lots of steamy sex scenes and it does take till twords the end of the book for everything to really fall together but I enjoyed every second and I can't wait for the next book :)

Different

And I loved it. The story kept me engaged the characters were interesting. The BDSM elements were good even though not quite what I enjoy reading. The scenes were well written and didn’t detract from the story at all.

I loved the narration. Each character had their own voice and the accents were spot on. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out on audio.

Hot hot hot!!

I loved this audiobook. It’s an age gap with bdsm romance. Warning: there is a water sports scene but it’s easy to skip if you don’t want to hear it.
I am super excited for the next book to come out to find out what happens to Yoshi’s brother Conner and his love interest Norse god looking chef Oz.

A titillating story

I very much enjoyed this book. The narrator does an excellent job with all the different voices and stays professional even when he's reading things that would make me crack up. The story was good and does not follow all the normal formulaic plot points of fiction today. The ending caught me mostly off guard. The author does a good job of world building too. I can't wait for a sequel!

4.5 stars and it's a must read/listen to.

STORY: 4.5 STARS
T.A.G You're Seen is an imaginative story with amazing characters. Just when you think you have something figured out, you find out, not everything is what it seems. More than one plot twist exists and that's what makes it interesting. There is plenty of steam, but that's not the only thing. The story weaves an intricate plot that keeps the reader captivated as they listen or read. In addition, a great cast of characters enhances the entire experience.

NARRATION: 5 STARS
Not all narrators are created equal. Gomez Pugh brought each of the characters to life, but more than that, he was able to do the various accents. Not always easy and more than one has failed. I could easily picture the characters in my head with these voices. He made them fit, unique, and has a voice that will hypnotize you. Very well done!

OVERALL: 4.5 STARS
I loved this story when I initially read it last year, and that has not changed one iota. If anything, I love it even more. Great story, plot, characters, and a fabulous narration. Overall, I'm giving this one 4.5 stars and I recommend everyone one-click this book today! You will enjoy it regardless if you read or listen to it.
