Publisher's Summary
Virginia Miller is an up-and-coming tennis star. She's gone from a ratty tennis court in a park in south London, England, to the world's top training facility - Los Carlos Tennis Academy in California. In awe of the talent around her, Virginia is all the more determined to make the most of the opportunity and show that she's worthy of her place there. Her mentor, Nadia Gorlando, has every faith in her.
But Virginia finds herself distracted - Nadia, as well as being a top-notch tennis player, is seriously sexy, and Virginia's mind keeps wandering where it shouldn't. Will her crush get in the way of her career, or can she find a way to push the other woman out of her mind before it's too late?

Short and sexy
This is a short and sexy listen, slightly taboo about a tennis star and her trainer. I like a good short every now and then and this fit the bill. The story was great and it was super steamy.
Xanthia Bloom was a great narrator. Especially for this sort of book. She just had the right voice!

Sweet romance
Would you listen to Sweet Spot again? Why?
Yes, I enjoyed the narrators voice and the story was well written.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I really enjoyed all of them. I'm a sucker for a strong female and there were plenty of those in this story.
What does Xanthia Bloom bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
That accent!!!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed! I also got angry and upset, but that's to be expected given some of the content.
Any additional comments?
This is the first time I've listened to F/F romance and it won't be the last.

Quick and easy listen but ending is very disappointing
At one point in the plot it was developed poorly and for the events involved brushed aside quite quickly. Also I couldn't marry the main characters reaction or overreaction with how she briskly explained it away. I didn't mind Xanthia Bloom's narration as much in this book but at one point a male character was talking and there's little differentiation between he and the main female character bar the accent. 2.5 stars at most

Good Quick Read
Any additional comments?
Sweet Spot by Lucy Felthouse was a good quick read. Virginia is an up and coming tennis star. She begins training with her mentor Nadia. Things start getting distracting as well as heating up for both women. Xanthia Bloom did a great job narrating and bringing life to the characters.

Love/Love -- On and off the tennis court
Would you consider the audio edition of Sweet Spot to be better than the print version?
Absolutely. The audio version is done to perfection.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Virginia, the protagonist. Totally believable as she goes from one emotional extreme to another and then back again -- no small challenge for both author and narrator; but it comes across perfectly.
What about Xanthia Bloom’s performance did you like?
Terrific performance. She handles the erotic scenes with gusto and perfectly charts the emotional roller coaster ridden by the lead character. I've got nothing but praise for how she handles the accents; the two central characters are American and British tennis players, and each sounds absolutely natural. Amazing how she does that.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It certainly was. A little slow getting started, perhaps; but really the time spent establishing the relationships and setting up the "twist" was well worth while in the long run.

Raw Talent Book Two
Raw Talent Book Two. Can be read as a standalone book.
Virginia Miller is disappointed when her friend Nadia Gorla didn't win her tournament, so she decides they need to drown their sorrows. The next morning Virginia finds herself in some hot water due to her alcohol induced shenanigans. However, when she recieves some bad news from her boss, Nadia is there to comfort her. While Virginia is a bit nervous to begin a relationship with her mentor, she has had a crush on Nadia for a long time.
If you're looking for a quick f/f read with a bit of tennis and locker rooms thrown in, this is the short for you!
