The scariest school on earth is about to experience real fear....

Most schools are about being the best. This school? It's about being the worst. Calder Academy is where the rogue paranormals go. The ones who break the rules or lose control. And when that happens for vamps, werewolves, witches, and dark fae? It gets pretty freaking scary.

I should know. Because I'm trapped here.

Look, every seventeen-year-old girl thinks their mom is a tyrant. But mine just happens to run Calder Academy, which paints a giant target on my back. The way I make it through these dark halls is by steering clear of the things—and kids—who go bump in the night.

Especially Jude Abernathy-Lee.

But when a freak storm hits our isolated island, I'm stuck without a backup plan. The power is gone. The lights are out. And our worst nightmares are suddenly real—and out for blood. Now, the only way to survive is to align myself with one evil to avoid the other.

And the only thing worse than the idea of getting close to Jude? Secretly loving every minute of it.

I genuinely love Tracy as an author… I hate we have to wait a year for the next book… I got giddy when Remmy came into this story. I was like no way!!! I had no idea this was a twist off of the crave series so it made me love it that much more when I realized it… very cute book, different story line with the nightmares, I would have never thought to write about something like this. Guess that’s why I’m in the medical field and not an author lol… can’t wait to see where this leads..

Love that it’s a twist off Crave

This book was amazing and it was so great to be put back into the crave universe but with compelling new characters and an unexpectedly thrilling storyline. I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one! It was so great to see Remmy and Issy back and I hope they are in the next book. I also loved the performance from the narrators. All around fantastic work!!!

Having thoroughly enjoyed the Crave series by Tracy Wolff, I was eagerly anticipating the chance to dive into this new series. Overall, this book was a solid read, and I’m definitely intrigued enough to continue with the series. However, I found that it didn't quite capture my heart in the same way that Crave did. While the story had its merits, I initially struggled to connect with the characters, which made it harder to become fully invested.

Fortunately, the second half of the book took a turn for the better, ultimately boosting my impression and leading me to revise my initial rating from 3 🌟 to 4 🌟. I have a strong hunch that the upcoming second installment will only get better, and I can't wait for its release!

Can't wait for the next book!

Good characters. The beginning moved a little slow and end was a little rushed and felt almost disjointed with too many surprises squeezed in.

Was good. Got dark.
