Great characters & clean interesting mystery

The characters were very memorable. I love this book because it was a clean (no foul language and no sexual content) and very interesting mystery with a twist.

Elvis is dead. Very, very dead...

OK, this is it. Suspicious Minds is my favorite Squeaky Clean Mystery ever! Well, maybe I've only read a few of them, but still. This book has ELVIS! Yes, I am a millennial, and yes Elvis died, or least he moved to Kokomo, IN, over a decade before I was born. But, still. This book has The King! And I loved every single song reference that Christy Barritt so cleverly wove into this fun and crazy mystery starring Gabby, whose crime scene cleaning exploits continually get her into trouble.

The mystery was well done with suspects galore and plenty of plot twists to keep you off guard. One of my early suspects turned out to be the villain but I was totally surprised as to the why of it all. Who would ever want to kill Elvis? Well, you'll just have to read or listen to this book to find out! Who was my favorite character you might ask? Well, it just happened to be Mrs. Mystery. She's fun, she's quirky, and she's wise. I'm also really enjoying Gabby's slow, but realistic, journey to faith. No insta-conversion here!

The audiobook was well done. The sound quality was excellent and I loved the emotion that the narrator put into her reading. She also has the perfect voice for a twenty-something young woman like Gabby. Love mysteries? Check out Suspicious Minds in Christy Barritt's zany Squeaky Clean Mysteries series.

I enjoyed this book. It was a good clean book. No sex just a good clean book.

Gabby found Elvis

Imagine going to give a quote for mild remediation and while you're in the crawl space looking around to do your estimate, you see Elvis! Then you walk into someone new in town and discover they're opening a competing business to your crime scene cleaning business. What else can happen to Gabby?

Quirky and lovable

I love characters in these stories. And Gabby makes me laugh out loud sometimes. Its the mystery combined with humor and broken people that keeps me entertained.

Great story for teens and young adults. Clean, funny, enjoyable and a great mystery!

I am loving this series!

This is such a fun series with a great group of characters. The narrator does an amazing job with all the different voices. I highly recommend.

Elvis impersonator is dead

I loved the first book in this series and thought a crime scene cleaner was a totally novel idea, so I just had to get the next book. However I was slightly disappointed with this book and will have to think long and hard before adding the next book to my collection. Don't get me wrong there was some good points and I love the characters but the main character spent much to much time pining over a lost love while seeing someone and whether to attend church of not, instead of investigating the murder. The mystery did kind of got lost with all the drama but there was plenty of suspects to keep it interesting and me listening. The characters are the main reason why I would visit this series again, they are such an unusual and whacky bunch. I especially liked the mysterious Mrs Mystery and of course the antics the animal loving Sierra gets up to, adds some humour.

Gabby has been asked to clean mold from a crawl space under a house, instead she finds a dead body. A popular Elvis impersonator. His wife asks Gabby to find out who killed him blaming his manager as the likely suspect or maybe his girlfriend or the list quickly grows and Gabby finds herself once again dodging bullets. Then another body is found under the house and Gabby has to ask what do the two men have in common other than the house? Will she be able to get to the bottom of the mystery before somebody tried to clean up?
I liked the narrator. She helped to bring the story to life by giving each character there own voice.
