Lots of twists and turns!

Christy has written yet another great mystery/love story. Listened straight through in a couple days!

Christy Barritt new to me.

I enjoyed this book very much. it held my attention. it kept me in suspense she did a great job of developing characters and I was still guessing until the villain was revealed:-)

I liked this story. Guessing who the bad guy was , was fun. Almost finding out...., but then not yet.

I really enjoyed this audio book, it made the trips around town much more entertaining!

Secrets, Greed, Lies, and Rediscovering Grace

The quiet, reclusive life of Savannah Harris starts to unravel when her best friend, Marti begins to suspect that migrant workers are going missing and asks Savannah for her help. After the death of Savannah’s baby daughter and minister husband, Savannah lost hope . . . and faith . . . she left her job as an investigative reporter and followed her best friend to Cape Thomas, where Marti ran a mission for migrant workers and their families. Savannah, surviving by taking boring writing assignments, was barely making ends meet, and Marti had suggested that Savannah take in a boarder to help with expenses. Against her better judgement, she agreed to rent the carriage house to Clive Miller, a handsome young widower, with a past full of secrets. Unlike Savannah though, the loss of his wife did not cause him to lose his faith in God, but instead bolstered it. The story of Clive searching for his wife’s killer and little by little revealing the truth to Savannah is rich and heartfelt. The interwoven story of Marti, the immigrant community, the evil behind the murders and race to find the killers is nail biting and keeps you guessing the whole time. I love the fact that God is never forced onto Savannah and time and grace are key in her way back to faith. This is an excellent story, for believers and non-believers alike. Great book, and excellent resolution.

Engaging Story!

Enjoyed this story. It kept me guessing. The characters were interesting and had depth to them.

Good story

Keeps you listening and when you stop it’s like a cliff hanger. The villan wasn’t easy to figure out.

Kept me guessing!!

I always enjoy Christy Barritt's books. This one was clean, dramatic and kept me guessing. I would be sure I knew who did it, the next minute, it was someone else. She had plenty of twists and turns. The narrator did a fine job. Highly recommend this book!!

Loved the story, great twists, and the narrator did a great job. I can't wait to read the rest.

Riveting tale from very first "page"

This book grabbed my attention from the first words the narrator said. It was am awesome ride filled with hidden agendas and identies that seemed poised to tear Savannah's (MC) world apart. Loved every second and really did not want it to end. Highly recommend.
