Finding that things were much worse than everyone had speculated didn’t surprise Jodi. But it would forever alter her family’s world view and transform them into something they hadn’t realized they were destined to become: survivors!

Worth a credit!

The narrator was good. Even though it was pretty long I really do hope for another part to this story as it doesn't seem quite finished. Some supporting characters I feel needed more explanation. But overall I enjoyed the listen.

wonderful

This expertly written storyline kept me listening to it and I finished it in 3 days. The research that the author had put in this story was very evident by all the situations all the characters had and made you feel like you could have been in their extended family. A much read or listen.

good overall

narrator did a good job and the story was interesting but the ending was very abrupt. I felt that too many loose ends were left hanging.

Multiple Goodies

It began with an adorable, comforting love story and then became a story of a badass woman. The narration is impeccable!

Fabulous and intriguing

I loved every second of this book, it was well written, characters were relatable and i like the main story being centred around the whole group and not just one or two leads! Very enjoyable and one I will listen to again!
