My first book/audio with this author and I'm in love with her writing style already. The love, heart,soul,swooning and spice of this story brings all the feelings to the front. this is not your average romance, it's so much more. oh my heart and my undies😍🥰😍🥲. Narration was great and my oh my... John Lane would you talk me to sleep🤩

Having finished this story a few weeks ago i wanted to experience it again. From the moment that i found out about this audiobook i couldn't wait to listen to it! I started looking forward to it right away and got into it as soon as i could. This audiobook hooked me! I really enjoyed this listen so very much!

Having listened to both Maxine Mitchell's and John Lane's narration before i was so happy to find out these two were narrating Sunshine and Sammy! Both Maxine and John pulled my heart and i in with their narration! They captured the characters of Sammy and Luke and the feels they brought, so wonderfully! Whenever two narrators can help me block out the outside world and get so immersed in the story like Maxine and John did, it makes for one fantastic experience!

Sammy and Luke's journey had me glued to my earbuds! Sammy is hired by Luke's sister, Rachel to come help out with their ranch. Can they work together and ignore the sparks flying between them? Or is giving into their hearts the best thing they could ever do?

Gah! I was so glad that i got to experience these and their story again in this new way! From the narration to the characters, this listen had me falling for this story even more! The sunshine lady and the grumpy cowboy left their mark on my heart once again! These two and their story had me all in my feels!

Their story showed how sometimes people can come into our lives and make it better in ways we didn't think possible. It was such a unique take on grumpy/sunshine. It made me so happy to get back into this world and revisit River Rock Ranch!

With Sunshine and Sammy, Ms.Moreland has created such a great story with feels and heart that'll stay with you! From the story, the characters, the setting, and all the way to the narration, this was such an awesome listen! I can see myself coming back to this audiobook for years to come. Definitely check this series out if you haven't already! ❤️🤠☀

Great narration for a wonderful story

Melanie Moreland has delivered a breath of fresh air with Sammy and Luke’s emotional love story. This is grumpy/sunshine small town romance at its best and it will certainly appeal to a wide range of audiences.
I was drawn in from the first few pages and there was no putting down until the final words had been read, it’s a wonderful addition to the Vested Interest: ABC Corp Series with characters you will fall hook, line and sinker for.

John Lane and Maxine Mitchell really brought the characters and their journey to life, they were spot on with the narration and I really felt the love and emotion.

Sammy is Van and Olivia’s daughter and just like her parents this girl knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to do what is needed even if that means walking away…. Luke is a rugged cowboy not looking for love until Sammy turns his world upside down, so will this couple who are like oil and water build a future or will past relationships ruin any chance they have. This is an entertaining yet emotional read that I adored and I highly recommend you all one click this beautifully written love story.

Sunshine and Sammy was a delightful read/listen that will fill you with joy. I will admit that cowboy books are not usually my cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed Sammy and Luke’s story.

Sammy is pure sunshine. She’s driven and determined yet cheerful and optimistic. She’s always sees the good in things and people and brings joy to those around her. Luke is the grumpy cowboy who’s resistant to change. He’s been hurt in the past so he’s built a wall around his heart, but it’s not strong enough to withstand the power of Sammy’s smile.

“You turned my world upside down, yet somehow righted it at the same time.”

I loved these two. Both were fantastic characters who were strong yet gentle. I loved how Luke was never afraid to apologize when he made a mistake and the tenderness he showed Sammy even when he was trying to resist her appeal. Sammy was so respectful of Luke and knew how to handle his gruffness from the start. The chemistry between them was the off the charts.

John Lane and Maxine Mitchell did a wonderful job narrating the characters of Luke and Sammy. They injected so much warmth and heart into their performances that you could really feel the emotion in the story.

Full of heart, heat, and so much love and laughs. Sunshine and Sammy was a fun story that will brighten your day. I loved all of the characters and couldn’t help but fall in love with them.

I could listen these two for days

I was so happy to see a book with the 3rd generation of BAM and ARC. If you haven't listened to these, you should....so good!

Sammy has a great job..she helps small companies grow. Luke is the owner of ranch that needs help. He is a grump, she is well Sunshine.

He leaves her at the airport, then finds her rummaging threw an office and she gets hurt when she hits her head. And that's just their first day. So much fun afterwards.
Read it. Great book.
Great listen. Let Maxine and John take you away.

Great story and great narration

I am loving this next generation series; Sunshine & Sammy (I adore this title) was a fabulous addition to what has quickly become one of my favourite series. This time we have Olivia and Van’s daughter Samantha (Sammy) Morrison in the spotlight and the man who wins her heart, Luke Adler.

Luke lives for the ranch that he and his sister Rachel own and the last thing he needs is to be attracted to Sammy, the woman who explodes into his life when she arrives to help construct part of their new business venture. I have to say their interactions made me smile as she sent Luke into a spin, disrupting his well ordered and planned out life.

From the first paragraph to the last I was drawn into the story that Ms. Moreland wove and read this book in almost one go. I fell hard and fast for Luke, he ticked all the boxes for me and you cannot help but be drawn to Sammy’s vibrant personality. John Lane's performance of Luke was spot on in my opnion; he brought the character to life for me . Maxine Mitchell's voice is always easy to listen to and she too was spot on as Sammy. Together they were so easy to listen to and they wuickly had me riveted to the story.

The push and pull dynamic of their relationship made for entertaining reading and I was sad when the book ended.

Little Mouse and the Cowboy

Sunshine and Sammy is the latest book from my favorite author, Melanie Moreland. This book is number 5 in the Vested Interest ABC Corp series, but reads well as a stand alone. For those, like me, have been reading this series since BAM and the rest of the Vested Interest generation, you will recognize Sammy as Little Mouse in Van! Little Mouse is all grown up a d runs her own company helping businesses build and showcase their brand. She's very good at what she does. She's also a true product of her parents, Van and Liv, strong, talented, confident. And not quite what Luke Adler expected. Literally! When Luke agreed to his sister's plans to keep the family farm, he was expecting to pick up and older, bearded Sam from the airport. Imagine his surprise to learn the beauty with the sunshine smile introduced herself. She's a knock out, that can knock him on his backside! Also literally! And its one of the funniest scenes ever!

Luke is a grumpy cowboy who wants nothing to do with this determine, and sassy beauty, who is breaking down all his barriers one by one. He may think he has good reasons to resist his pull to her, considering his past, and what he thinks he can't offer her as a future. However, he soon realizes he can't resist the woman who paints the barn to make his cows happy! He can't resist the sunshine she brings to his lonely existence. Sammy is just what be needs!

As mentioned before, this book an be read as a standalone if you haven't read the other books in the series, but we do get a visit from her parents, "uncle" and "cousins" who get up to their usual hilarious antics. Her family embraces Luke and is able to give him some pertanent pieces of advice to help him see past his past, and open himself up for a future with Sammy. Luckily, we get a front row seat to this show! You will want to read the other books, but its not a requirement before you read Sunshine and Sammy. However, you will be happy if you pick them up afterwards!

Another winner

I love this family. Keep them coming!! It was so wonderful to get to know how Sammy turned out and I loved Cowboy. Perfect combination of sex and angst. So glad Luke didn’t take too long to see what he was losing. Rachel was amazing, told it like it was and I loved the chance Sammy took by saying she loved Luke when she didn’t know how he’d respond. But best of all was catching up on the rest of the family!! Life should be like this world and I need to go to it often. Thank you Melanie!!!

Mega Feels & Super Swoon

You best be prepared for the mega feels and super swoon that this amazing romance has headed your way. Sammy and Luke are absolutely impossible to resist and their obvious attraction and chemistry has you almost instantly attached and invested. These two certainly make a sweet & spicy couple that will have you laughing, sighing, in desperate need of your favorite ice-cold beverage and ultimately leave you just a heart melted, sappy puddle. This book is simply so much fun with an abundance of heart and humor. Don't let that fool you though because it can also tug firmly on your heartstrings, whenever it wants to. This book offers dual narration which I prefer. The performances were excellent and I felt the voices matched the characters really well.

SUNSHINE & SAMMY is Luke and Sammy's story, the fifth book in the Vested Interest: ABC Corp series.

OMG! Luke and Sammy are the definitions of grumpy and sunshine and I couldn't get enough of them.

Sammy accepts a job to help a ranch change its business to turn it into a destination location. Upon arriving at the ranch, Sammy is greeted by Luke, a sexy but extremely grumpy cowboy. As they start to work together on the plan for the ranch, things heat up between them, but Luke's past refuses to let him trust.

I fell in love with Luke and Sammy from the very beginning of the book. The tension between them is so thick. Luke has been hurt in the past which makes him grumpy and un-trusting. Sammy is all sunshine and determination. Luke and Sammy are perfect together, with amazing banter, laugh-out-loud moments, tears in my eyes and my heart bursting with love. I also love the extended family and that we got to see most of them. I can not wait for what is next.

John Lane and Maxine Mitchell were the perfect selections for Luke and Sammy. They did a fantastic job bringing not only the characters but the entire story to life.

Opposites Attract

Opposites attract in this story. Sunshine city girl, Sammy who thinks love is for others but just not for herself. Grumpy, hard headed cowboy Luke doesn’t believe in love.
Right from their first meeting when Luke abandons Sammy at the airport sparks fly all around whenever these two spar.

“We agreed on the rules.” I sniffed. “I just broke them.”
Dad smiled, shaking his head. He cupped my face. “There are no rules with love. That’s a hard lesson to learn, my girl.”

Sunshine and Sammy is a great blend of emotional romance and really fun romcom.

“…Except Dusty didn’t want to move when I tugged on her reins.
“How do you get her in reverse?” I mumbled, looking over my shoulder.”

I have this book in both ebook and audiobook and the audio was perfection! I just loved listening as the narrators brought the characters to life.
