Publisher's summary

In a new Cold War between Earth and the colonies on Mars, when devastating weapons go missing, there's only one team you can call - the Outriders. A crack force of highly specialized super-soldiers, their clone bodies are near-immortal.

When a fully-autonomous vessel with orbital strike capabilities goes missing, it's up to the Outriders to track the un-trackable. But when the trail leads them to the influential Martian People's Collective Republic, the operation gets a lot more complicated.

Sungrazer by Jay Posey

With capable attention to ethical detail, Posey, again, skillfully grabbed my imagination. He placed me into a nail-biting, multi-planet, strategic-operation attempted by passionate, hyper-skilled warriors. Though only partially informed, those professionals willingly attempted the "extraordinary".

Bravo, again, Jay Posey.

You roll the dice when you change narrators....

In this case, I think they came up craps. Please understand that I think Graham Winton is a fine narrator but, I have real issues with his interpretation of the characters and how he portrays them. I loved Outriders and its narrator. If I had listened to Sungazer without having listened to Outriders, I might feel differently. The story is good and the characters are easy to connect to. Unfortunately, for me, the change of narrators created too much of a distraction.

good read

big fan of Posey. Narrator much improved from the last book. Not as dead pan. i do regret that Wright now sounds like a homosexual teenage boy.
