what was the point?

this story seems to have had absolutely no point to it. nothing ever gets explained no questions answered and way to much meaningless introspection by the mc. it was a rambling mess that never got around to saying anything significant or meaningful. the love scene was like a virgin trying to explain it. I see the author has alot of books out but after this I don't think I'll be giving them a try. I hate leaving bad or even mediocre reviews but I just can't justify more then this rating for this story. seriously if the author had just given any explanation or made the succubus a little less annoying and evasive it might have worked but as it stands its like half a story with no real direction.
