Publisher's summary

Christopher: My life has been boringly predictable. From academic success as a child and at college, to my career at Greenford University, everything has fit perfectly into the plan. I like it, it’s worked for me, and thankfully, for my peace of mind, it works for my mother, as well. But I’m starting to wonder if there’s more to life than just my plan. That question grows even louder when I meet Mateo on a night out. Suddenly, I find myself falling head over heels for someone I never imagined...a stripper!

Mateo: I was warned taking a break from college was a bad idea. Well, I didn’t have a choice when my mom got sick. I needed more than a serving job at the strip club. Turned out, stripping was perfect for me. I’m good at it. I enjoy it, and people enjoy me, so I’ve stuck with it. I haven’t dated anyone recently, seemed like a recipe for disaster, especially if I met them in the club. That changed when I met Christopher. Something in that shy, sweet man drew me to him immediately and suddenly, I don’t want anything else but him...until his mother interferes.

Can a nerdy college professor and a fun-loving stripper make their romance work, or will outside pressures ruin everything?

Fun, Sexy, and Based In Reality

Fun characters with real life problems. The author did a wonderful job providing a full in depth story and wrapping up all the loose ends. The narrator also did an awesome job with the different voices. Voices make me think the story is placed in Canada. Will definitely be purchasing the rest of the series!

Stripping Feelings

An enjoyable read that tugs the feels in the right places. This one is an emotional journey between two guys who are complete opposites of each other, but somehow find their way to be be together. They had to fight through some relationship challenges, specially some interfering momma drama. Their story is relatable in a way that it does happen in real life and that's what makes it a great story.

The narrator is new-to-me and he did well in narrating this book.

I kinda wish this one is longer.

Slow and steady

If insta-love isn’t your cup of tea, this book may be exactly what you’re looking for. The couple’s coming together reads more like a social experiment than a courtship. One of the MCs considers his interest in the other based on theories and hypotheses. The adjectives “slow” and “awkward” are used to describe their burgeoning relationship, and those adjectives work just as well to describe the book. Heat level low.
