Publisher's summary

How many times have you thought you conveyed your message well, only to later find out that what you thought was clearly conveyed apparently wasn’t? Or, even when you know your message was heard and understood, how many times was the message not remembered?

Miscommunication, missed communication, and forgotten communication can impact business and personal interactions, faster than almost anything else. To defend against this, Stop Pretending You’re Being Heard provides multiple methods that can help you get your messages heard, understood, and remembered - strategies that can improve both professional and personal communication.

Perfect for Communications Skill Development

Excellent book whether you’re new to management/leadership or have been a supervisor for some time. I chose this book to review communication methods and strategies as I prepare for another large scale organizational change initiative, so this couldn’t have come at a better time.

Most of this book contains information I’ve seen or heard before, and what sets it apart from others are the organized approaches presented. If you are looking for insights into modern challenges of communication, this is a recommended read.
