The stuff ancestries did not tell, is what we needed to know. Often family members (Apples) see repeated mistakes and failures for generations (Trees). Rather than learning or taking a different path, family members fall from the same tree. Meaning repeating the same mistakes. Many of these repeated mistakes are due to ancestries failing to be transparent. Techniques to exceed the tree are detailed inside! I am trying to promote awareness. Repeated family failures must stop. You do not have to be the apple that fell, you can exceed the tree. If you fall, establish a plan and keep moving. Empowerment to make a change!

If you could sum up Stop Being The Apple That Fell From The Family Tree: Instead, Exceed the Tree in three words, what would they be?
Sometimes we can't see the forest for the tree. Understanding our part in the tree, what role we each play, and what are possibilities are helps us take a step back and see the forest. This book helped me see what was right in front of me, but couldn't understand. I was blinded to my trees parameters, both good and bad. What was one of the most memorable moments of Stop Being The Apple That Fell From The Family Tree: Instead, Exceed the Tree?
I found myself yelling at the narrator in my car saying "YES!" It was like someone was telling my story that I was too close to understand myself. After my first "aha" moment I vowed to listen over again, because I found myself having long, overdue, inner dialogues on things in my life that were suddenly coming clear. What about Becky White’s performance did you like?
Her reading drew me in, and kept me excited to hear more. She retains the readers attention without being exaggerated. What did you learn from Stop Being The Apple That Fell From The Family Tree: Instead, Exceed the Tree that you would use in your daily life?
I learned there is nothing wrong with me being different. It doesn't mean I don't learn from my tree, or can feel loved by my tree. My desire to keep learning is my right to grow beyond my tree.Any additional comments?
It's funny how once an objective person makes an observation it can seem so clear. You question "why didn't I realize that?" Thank fully, Dr. Murray has cleared the path so we can see a better way to travel our journey and find our true identities beyond the our tree. One listen is not enough!

This book helped me to better understand, that life experiences isn't what happens to you as much as what you do with, what happens to you.
My thought process after reading this book is to become better not bitter when life gives you sour apples. Becoming the change that your family needs is hard work but rewarding.
Embracing Positive Change

The apple and tree analogy was stretched past its breaking point, and the book would have benefitted from straightforward language. I also felt like more real stories to illustrate the points would have helped me emotionally connect to the main points.
The narrator was fine... it’s just that I have heard Dr. Murray speak, and I would have appreciated this much more had she been the reader!
