Publisher's summary

Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé - according to his text - has forgotten about the wedding.

Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight.

At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.

The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.

But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Devney does it again

I could just listen to all of Devney’s books all day and never tire. Ava and Teddy have amazing voices - like you’re coming home and it’s just perfect.

Excellent book, excellent narrators.

A great series

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series so I was excited to see Presley get her own book. We finally get some of her backstory and how she came to be the "adopted" daughter of the Tin Gypsies. Presley is not your typical heroine and she's not looking for a prince charming so when a Hollywood A-list actor comes to Clifton Forge, Montana the last thing Presley wants is his attention. But Shaw Valance knows what he wants and he's not about to let a woman like Presley slip through his fingers.

Hollywood + Small Town Romance

“You’re stronger and better than your past. Choose the life you want and work your ass off to make it happen.”

I was in audiobook heaven with this small town romance centered around a tight-knit family of former motorcycle club gang members whose lives are turned upside down when a troublesome movie production rolls into town. The narration was addicting, with the glamour of Hollywood offset by the grit and suspense of bad choices, the small town charm and sexual tension of an unexpected romance made this story pure perfection for me!Shaw and Presley’s romance is full of flirty banter, heated attraction and heartfelt moments, with each of them opening up and finally letting someone into their heart forever.

“There were more important things than money and a legacy. Presley was more important. Her happiness. Her dreams. Her love.”.

I loved Presley’s spunky yet tough personality that she used to hide her painful past, she was not a pushover and grew to realize her worth. Even with keeping her stone heart guarded she was no match for the charm and sexy smile Shaw would aim her way, proving that not all men are jerks, even if they do make mistakes. What started as just a fling turned into a relationship with a man she could truly confide in, someone she wasn’t scared to share her past with and I loved listening to their journey to happiness. Shaw is definitely a man worth risking your heart over, passionate and sweet, a true stand up gentleman.

“I’d rather be by his side than standing in the shadows alone.”

This whole series is fantastic and Stone Princess was another incredible ride.

Fantastic Book!!!

First the narration in this book is absolutely amazing!! Teddy and Ava are so good together, and they bring the feeling that is needed to the story. Presley is heartbroken and feeling low, Shaw is on top of the world, but little did they know they both needed the other to be complete. The romance build up is perfection, as well as the peak. This book may be favorite of the series thus far. DON'T HESITATE JUST LISTEN!!!!!

Love Devney Perry

I have not read or listened to a book by Devney Perry that I have not liked. Every time a new book comes out I start from the beginning and listen to all of the books in the series. You don’t have to do that to enjoy this book. I just love her books so much.

Stone Princess - hot movie star falls for the girl next door.

I love how she shows the person who help free you can change and end up like the person they originally freed you from. No one knows how someone’s home life is behind closed doors.

4/5

Shaw and Presley were really cute together!! The story was very entertaining and interesting. I loved the suspense towards the end. Something was missing during the whole story though and I kind of got a little bored. I am exited about Scarlett’s story though!!

Audio: Both narrators did a fantastic job in bringing Presley and Shaw to life!!

Drama!

3.75 stars. A lot was happening in this story! You have the small-town romance, motorcycle gang, Hollywood heartthrob, and OW/OM drama. I liked how Presley and Shaw first met, especially because he fell for her first. There was too much 3/4 into the book. It ends on a cliffhanger, and I wouldn't recommend it as a standalone.

Great series!

I put this series off and I’m almost glad I did! While searching for something new in a sea of all the same I decided to give it a shot. Love this series!!! Devney Perry is amazing at building characters and making you wish you were a part of that family.

Love this series

I’m absolutely loving this series. I love the relationship that develops between each couple. And Presley and Shaw were no different.
There bond, banter and chemistry were off the charts. I enjoyed that their relationship developed slow and that Presley tried to fight her feelings for Shaw. But Shaw is just too charging for his own good.
I love when celebrities settle down with a normal person and take a step back from the fame for love. It just melts my heart.
This story had some twists and turns in it, as all of the books in this series have and it keeps me a little more hooked.
I love this whole series, the town it’s set in and all the different characters. I’m so eager to continue with the series!

I want to be Presley Marks

I want to be Presley Marks when I grow up!

A tiny, feisty blonde bombshell packing attitude, Presley is one of my top heroines of all time. Fiercely loyal to the family she has chosen, soft hearted and completely selfless, she is everything I want to be and then some.

Once again Devney has weaved a story that grips you, with twists and turns you don’t expect, up until the perfect ending which leaves your heart with the warm and fuzzies to the very last pages.

Stone Princess picks up exactly where Riven Knight ended, with Presley being left at the alter by her long term deadbeat fiancé Jeremiah. Hated by her friends and family (those who work at the garage) as he is part of a once rival biker gang to the tin gypsies, Presley seems to be the only one saddened by Jeremiah’s no show at the wedding, until her sadness turns to anger and Presley realises she’s better off without the man she spent most of the past few years bankrolling.

Just to add to her stresses, a few days after the wedding that never was, Dash has news that a Hollywood film crew is soon to be setting foot in Clifton Forge to make a movie about the famous murder that happened years prior. With insider knowledge and not everything being as it seems, the crew at the garage want to stay well out of the spotlight, but unfortunately or rather fortunately in the end, Presley catches the eye of Hollywood’s hottest film star, Shaw Vallance.

Shaw has invested mountains of his own time and money into this film, believing in a script about a once good man, who did something horrific, which is a little too close to home. Shaw heads to the garage to try and make friends with those who were personally affected by the tragedy, but is knocked on his ass when he meets a pint sized princess with the bluest eyes he’s ever seen.

Shaw doesn’t understand the word no, and Presley’s no’s start to mean yes, but there is a time limit to their romance, Presley’s life is in Clifton Forge but Shaw’s is in Hollywood, and neither is interested in anything long term, at least in the beginning.

Without giving the story away, there are family members who turn up, hidden skeletons that won’t stay in the closet and ghosts from the past that don’t seem as scary when you have someone with you in the dark.

Although not as emotionally charged as the previous two instalments, I have to say, Stone Princess is my absolute favourite book of the series so far, I fell in love with both Shaw and Presley and the set up for the next book has left me counting down the days to its release. Another epically brilliant hit for Ms Perry, gold stars all around.
