Publisher's summary

Rule No. 2: Show no fear.

They're vile and twisted.

The only thing more f--ked up than the Sick Boys is me, and I'm ready to show them.

The Sick Boys are hiding something from me. They want to pretend like I didn't kill my rapist and they didn't help. But we're not ordinary college students, that much has become clear to me, and I'm growing tired of all of the lies and secrets.

Their masks are cracking, and, finally, I'm starting to see the grotesque reality underneath. It's far darker than I ever expected, and it's not enough. They know everything about me, so now it's my turn. I fear nothing. Not them. Not the man that I killed or the people who set me up.

Fear is for the weak, and I, Avalon Manning, am anything but.

Contains mature themes.

I enjoy that they have a love hate relationship

I would have liked avalons character to not have a seductive voice at all times. she didn't sound as if she had any other mood.

Take a chance

I was hesitant to purchase given length of novel & new to me author but both in the series thus far are FANTASTIC! The storyline is not one I’ve heard and it is dark, hot, and suspenseful. JF Harding is a top choice narrator for me but both nailed their characters. Looking forward to more :)

The best series ever !

I didn’t think anything could be better than reading about the sick boys, but listening to it on Audible was it even better

So Addictive!

This is such an addictive series and it’s never a dull moment. Avalon has had a crappy life and has gotten even worse at the end of book 1. It must be so exhausting having that much anger and hate inside you. Never being able to trust anyone, always on guard. I like how the characters are evolving though and I know the drama is just going to get more intense. The narration is amazing, love JF Harding, such a sexy voice.

Enjoyable listen~

Ava is a badass, and her relationship with all the boys is getting stronger which I love. She’s officially a Sick girl haha. This book is violent like the first one, so if you don’t like violence I’d steer clear. I feel like Ava has been a little naïve, like we can see Corina is up to something, but Ava couldn’t see through her bs. I feel like Ava doesn’t ask enough questions. Like why does Corina want to be my friend? The other thing that bothered me in this book is that she confronts Rylie twice about her keeping and eye on her, the first time she’s all cool about it, but then the second time she wants to kill her for it. But like Rylie was just watching her for the boys, and the boys obviously want what’s best for her. Like no harm came from Rylie watching Ava. It’s annoying. I know Ava has trust issues, but like Rylie just had her back and was keeping her safe. I wish Ava was a little more open minded and trusting of her real friends. I hope she loosens up in the next few books, and that Dean and her become more lovey dovey~

Still intense

Crazy, intense story. At times it was a little slow and repetitive, even a little predictable, but overall I enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to the next one. Good performances.

Great series so far

But really could have put all 3 books into ONE BOOK! So much unnecessary stuff that prolongs each book.
Good reads but excessively slow and not nearly as dark as I was expecting.

Dark Greatness

Fanflippintastic! I absolutely love this series and can't wait for the others to come out in audio format. If you don’t like dark stories, this one isn't for you! BUT, if you do, don't pass it by!!

Avalon’s acceptance

Stone cold Queen is a second part or the ”sick boys” series. Dark and twisted story continues, violence and love main topics.

In this book Avalon accepts love, even if she is scared and tries to cope with her past and solving the secrets ahead.

This is a sequel, so listen Pretty Little Savage first. Also be warned that this is violent story, there are triggers: coping with rape and torture.
