Publisher's summary

A vampire’s stolen my heart, but can I trust him to protect me?

Until recently, I didn’t believe vampires existed. Now I’m being held captive and I know it’s not a coincidence. My captor isn’t human and neither is his thirst for me.

I have to find a way to escape, and I’m certain Nic is the only vampire who can protect me. Or maybe I’m being blinded by how he makes my heart race in the best way possible. Can I truly trust one of his kind?

When my captor says he wants me for himself, my human blood runs cold. I realize this isn’t simply a vampire hungering for human blood. It’s about something much bigger than me that I’ve found myself caught up in the middle of.

I have a bad feeling I may have started a war...

Note: Stolen by the Vampire King is the second audiobook in a trilogy and ends on a cliff-hanger. It's recommended for 18+.

I good story

I liked the story but Leah is a very frustrating character. And a bit selfish. My heat hurts for Nick. She refuses to understand the full picture of everything. And doesn’t car to see. But I digress. I still like the story. The audio had a few hiccups. But it was good.

Good story, couple of audio issues

I like the story, if you like romance novels, and vampires, and want to get into a series with cliffhangers, recommend this book to you. The narrators did good, definitely made a performance with the Louisiana accents rather than just reading the book.

Couple of audio issues, maybe 4-5 times throughout the book there would be 2 voices talking at the same time. The first time I thought it was for some sort of dramatic effect, but then as it continued to happen throughout the book, it came of more and more unintentional, and made those snippets hard to listen to. But it was never a long stretch, usually a couple words or a single sentence, then the audio would return to normal.

Such a Dumb***

The fact that this dumbass woman was so dense, too dense, was so irritating. Lia deserved everything she received. Narrators did a great job. On to the next book!

Great story

Loved following this story but there are a couple places in the book where it sounds like there are multiple voices saying the same thing recorded over top each other. not pleasant 😕

SHE is childish and stupid

I tried the second book, but she is still just as immature and ridiculous. Waah, woe is me, but I don't want to do anything to improve my situation but have sex. It irritated me so badly, I could barely finish the second book. She doesn't deserve Nick... She's stupid, just stupid. Nick asked her to let him change her, but no... I just can't just can't. Irritation is being nice. Then after all of it the ending did me in.. I'm not sure if I can tolerate book 3.

Worst Vampire Ever

The couple in this story have got to be the stupidest duo I’ve seen. Fickle, petulant children. The only redeeming thing that could have occurred was if they both blew up in a fireball after one of their pathetic romps in the hay.
The narrators did a good job, but not enough for me to purchase the last book. If only I could get my time and money back for the first two. This was awful.
