A brutal mountain lion attack leaves Winter, a prized miniature horse, with shattered dreams and scars that change her in surprising ways. Carson, a brilliant 12-year-old who loves all things in the animal world, is trying to make her voice heard despite her stutter. At an event about mini horses, Carson meets a new friend - a boy who doesn’t seem to mind her stutter. But he’s facing challenges of his own. When they cross paths with Winter, something unexpected happens.

Listening to the author, Wendi Threlkeld, narrate her book, Stolen Whinnies was the best ever! It felt like she was sitting beside me telling me the story of hope through the experiences of the characters Goodness, Mercy, Winter, Angel, Macky, Doc Browning, Carson & Jackson. Wow, just Wow! I seriously loved the whole book and didn’t want it to end. I look forward to Wendi’s next book!
