Ready for Barack's Challenge!
Stephanie was more than a little selfish, but had good intentions overall. I enjoyed Deffand!. Now it has been almost 5 years! Where is book 5 to round out the storyline? Please finish the series.

Did Not Like the Cliffhanger!
I have come to expect a certain level of storyline from M. K. Eidem; this one fell short. Her cliffhanger as the ending was not welcome. Especially since this audible edition was released under a different publisher months before the Audible release date. I as an M.K. Eidem fan and 1st buy had to wait to purchase since I prefer Audible. I wonder why she felt it necessary to include a cliffhanger when her previous 3 Challenge books did not?

Liked it but...Something missing
This Challenge series are one of my all time favorites and when I'm in the mood for a good Sci-Fi these are my go to.
Not this one. It was good to hear about Stephanie and I love Defan but it didn't sound like the first 3 books. This one didn't grab me by the throat like the others. Loved hearing the previous characters and their lives. It was also too short (novella?) . At 22, 14 , 14 hours, the first 3 were action packed with multiple plots that blended well into great stories. This, not so much. Something was missing.
Narration was awesome as usual. Wish other audiobooks were similarly produced.
I will buy the next one just to see what happens.
